It's a very good place to stay! Good location for those who want to have fun.... It's clean and the people that stay in the reception, are very kind and always there to help you!

Clean room, friendly staff, central location, but this also makes it quite loud. Bathroom could have been cleaner, had a lot of mould. Stairs going up to room are horrible, not for people with vertigo and heavy luggage. Breakfast was also very good, however the food prices in the bar were too expensive, even with the discount, just go to the supermarket. Pricier stay but worth it compared to some of the other gross places nearby

The staff are very friendly. Kat, the receptionist, strives to make the guests feel welcome and valued. Jim, the manager, is extremely positive and friendly to guests and vendors. The room I stayed in was small and cramped. However, the location is only a few minute walk to/from the train station to the red light district, which makes this hostel more appealing. The price was also another reason to stay here. If you want a good place to stay for a short time, this would be a smart choice!

I stayed at Durty Nelly's for a few days around Christmas and it is, thus far, the best hostel that I've stayed at. The room and bed was comfortable, the staff, particularly Kat, were incredibly helpful and easygoing, the breakfast was simple but good, and the bar downstairs made it hard to leave the premises sometimes. The location is also great as it's a minute walk to dam square, on the border of the red light district, and there are a lot of coffee shops on the same street. Really good

Everything was great! Had a warm and friendly greeting upon arrival and farewell upon departure. The room was a disappointment thou, as we booked for a 8 bed room and the room size was too small and narrow to move around when each one of us had a bag. Breakfast was really really filling! We were also able to book tickets from the hostel which saves time queuing up. Staying at the hostel also means getting discounts at the bar!

Very good atmosphere, very nice staff, very well located, super close to the Central Station, the Dam, the Red Light district. Way better than I expected.

Great location, great people, and a lot of fun. I would definitely make this my top recommendation for Amsterdam. They have an associated bar, where they serve breakfast, drinks in the afternoon, and start pub crawls in the evening. The staff provided great recommendations of things to do. And worth mentioning again, the place is right in the center of everything taht you could want.

Staff always friendly and helpful and the pub downstairs really nice. The rooms are too tight, and ours had the toilet outside the room, even though we asked for a ensuite room. Also the hostel is a bit noisy, but the friendly atmosphere worths.

The hostel was fine. The only but I would add is that the rooms are quite small. I stayed in a 6 beds room and it was almost impossible to move between beds.

We started out in a 6 person mixed room, but for the last night, they upgraded us to a private room for no extra charge. The staff is really helpful in their advice on what to do around the city and with directions. The food there was alright, but we wished there were other options on the specials menu besides burgers since we were all vegetarian.

A very nice hostel in the Red Light District. Staff and location were great. Not enough bathrooms / showers, but I could live with this! Would have loved to have a kitchen to cook in, but you can't have everything. Definitely worth the money!

The place is very noisy. The room is very small. I know it's a hostel but they should think about the comfort too. that's all.

Location is good, not to far from the train station and pretty central to town. A sign is not very well marked, but as long as you have the address you will be fine. Everyone complains about the stairs and they are steep, but not to bad. The staff is very friendly especially Kat. The internet has a bad connection and if you need to use it you have to go down to the bar. Overall it is a good place and
