The only good thing about this hostel is the location. If you think location is everything, ok, go ahead and stay on Durty Nellys. But on the other stuffs it\\\'s terrible: it\\\'s dirty, horrible internet access, a very rude fat guy on the staff (i think he is the boss) and a terrible organization. In factly, the hostel is basicly the pub and beds upstairs. Not good at all to meet new people. Breakfast is ok, but you can find better in others hotels.

Having a room without a key made me feel a little uneasy, but the rest of security put me at rest.

If you're after a weekend on the lash this place will work for you, being right in the guts of the red light. However, the name is on the box, so expect dorms full of noisy drunk people, spew in the hallway, crap breakfasts (come on guys - at €50 for a bed on sat night you can throw a pancake into your supposedly 'Dutch' breakfast), and mice throughout (seriously). If you intend on being sober for a few hours of each day, pay less for a nicer room outside of the red light district.

Staff were v. friendly, always there for advise and would set you in the right direction. Bar closes at 5am to residents, how bad!!! Situated just off the red light district so keep your wits about you!

if you want a place next the red lign and the center, it's perfect. Breakfast is good et enough.Staff is cool. But it's a budget hotel so there isn't common roomm or animations.

Despite the name and the fact that it's over an Irish pub at the edge of the red-light district, this was a good place. Security is good and the beds were clean, and the room was quite quiet. Recommended.
