location is brilliant! right on the beach,staff were really friendly and helpful and a row or beach cafe's outside.

Perfect for shoestring budget travellers who wants to stay on the beach for cheap. The guesthouse is also near some cheap-ish places to eat and chill out at night. As we drove there, I'm not so sure about public transportation, but driving was easy enough. Very, VERY basic but clean rooms. No power outlets in the room, so u'd have to share the few that is available in the common area. Overall, it was still a pleasant experience and recommended for singles/couples/groups of friends.

Friendly -simple , great location next to the beach and charming beach restaurants. Rooms very simple compared to european standard, thin walls means som noice from sourrounding traffic and mosques. Cross the small road and you find your self in the very beach front reastaurants. ( this is not a place wher y hang out, on the other hand, the beach bars are located right in front of the guest house)

went there for 1 night, ended staying 3! very helpful and friendly family who run this place. 50MR a night for a fan room is v good for pinang. the food in batu ferringhi is superb also, try the place on the corner, and the long beach food court. satay is great and all the food is excellent value for money and tasty. beach is a bit over touristed, not as nice as some of the langkawi beaches but pleasant nonetheless, ET has a great bar over the road, at night we watched lightning stroms pass over

Great location in Batu Ferringhi across the street from the beach and two blocks from the night market. Staff is friendly although the woman will get very upset if you wear your shoes inside. Not sparkling clean rooms or bathrooms but not disgusting. Huge front balcony with chairs to relax. Pretty cheap so all in all a pretty good value for the money considering the location.
