This was an excellent place in a quiet part of Dusseldorf, near lots of neat shops and restaurants. It is easy to get to via train, tram, or foot. The facilities were very nice and clean, comfortable, and relaxing.

Having visited numerous hostels I must sadly admit that A&O was one of the least hospitable places. Despite it's good location and decent level of cleanliness, there is no kitchen or fridges for the guests, and the only parking space is the underground garage available at a staggering 12 euro per day.The receptionist was rather polite, nonetheless very far from being helpful. She was unable to inform me about the parking rules or places worth visiting in the city. I won't stay at the A&O again

Practically a hotel. Clean and comfortable. The rooms have private bathrooms and there is an optional cleaning service. Staying here is perfect for people who like to be independent. The place seemed to be run by one lady, who was very helpful (when avaliable), but mostly you checked in and then took care of yourself. Kind of remote, but there are trains and team near by.
