I love to travel and usually stay at hostels so I didnt had high expectations (even stayed in 4 hostels in Taiwan before this one) and so far this is the worst hostel I have stay. To begin bathroon was really horrible it had a leak from the toilet and shower sink and everything was with water on the floor always. It says 8 male but we were 9. Common room was small and most thing werent working. There are lots of nicer places like flip flop, lhr or even the one in floor 22. Just dont book here!

The location of the hostel is EXCELLENT (五鐵秋葉原大廈)as it is close to the Taipei station and 誠品. 咖啡弄 and local food stores are just at the corner. I paid for a single room but got a dorm.. in return, I didn't need to share the bathroom with others. So, it's fine to me. The outer area is like the public housing but all things are tidy & clean (there're a balcony and strong air-conditioner too) even a bit old. Will stay there again with friends (not alone) next time.
Nice location, worth for this price range. Room is not so clean though.

This hotel is very clean and quiet and is directly in front of the main train central station, making it very easy to travel to other parts of Taipei as well as to other towns in Taiwan. However, the room is separate from the lobby and common area, so I feel a bit insecure. But there was no problem with safety or the security of the door and lock of my room. It was a pleasant stay during my 3 nights there and I could enjoy my travel and tours in Taipei and Kaohsiung easily.
The hostel is located inside a multipurpose use building. There's no large " hostel " sign outside. So look up the location in advance to avoid getting lost. But basically it's the Taipei main station MRT exit M3. Overall the host was nice and flexible, and the location was excellent. Always Remember, it's a hostel, not a five star hotel. Happy travels!
Perfect area, just across from the main train station including high speed rail, MRT and normal trains. Odd setup with rooms spread across several levels of the building, which means heading to the small common room for wifi. Hot water provided, no drinking water.
