When you are used to hostels and guesthouses, you'll enjoy this hotel for its spacious rooms and cleanliness. The staff was helpfull. Breakfast included! There's not much to do though, but when you want to rest for a day or two, it's good value for money.

Overall this is a good place to stay in Langkawi when you are on a budget. It is close to the jetty and about $8 USD by taxi to most beaches and tourist places. With its low price this is still a good deal as most places in Langkawi are expensive. The breakfast was included in the price of the room and was good. It is nothing fancy but if you are used to staying in hostels this will be a step up. :-) Overall, I would stay here again.

Room without WIFI service. Pay WIFI service available only at hotel lobby. Poor and very limited TV programme. Room service is OK. I can just leave me handphone on the desk inside the room.

I had no issues with this hotel, tho I only stayed one night. The room and bathroom were spacious, all the lights worked, there was a fridge, coffeemaker, tv, closet, armchairs. Sure, the front desk could've been more hospitable, but they let me check in at 12:30 even though their policy is 3pm. The lady I had was simply terse, not rude! Plus, I didn't run into mosquitoes, which I thought I would on a beachy island. Walkable (5-10 min) from the jetty - there are sidewalks. Bfast buffet - GREAT!

On arriving at Eagle Bay a day BEFORE my actually booking (booking after 12 midnight can screw with your idea of the days!), the friendly staff had no problem sorting me out AND upgrading my room to a view that was sensational to say the least. It is located right near the ferry jetty, which is handy, and nearby is a restaurant called 'The Western Bar' which serves the BEST food, owned by one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Make sure you go!
