East is beautiful!!! Don\'t let the outside fool you, one of the nicest hostels I have ever stayed in!!! The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly, the breakfast is great!!! and the restaurant down the road is really quite cheap and serves delicious food. Is easy to find if coming from Gara de Nord-just walk down Calea Grivitei, if coming from the airports, invest in a cab w/ GPS (or take the express train to Gara de Nord). Farily close to the train station which is always nice when carrying a backpack. The staff were very helpful and the place is quite nice. Accessible location, right between two of the main transport hubs and a short walk to either. The staff let you in through the main door, so it's secure. I stayed in the single room, which was small, but comfortable. Pretty clean. Free internet access. Helpful informative staff.
