The staff set a new standard for rudeness; the heaters were broken and it was freezing cold: when asked to turn up the heat, the staff said there was no heating; the bathroom on the top floor (and we were staying on the top floor) was out of service; the central lights in our room were broken and we only had, as a light source,2 lecture lights in 6 people; the ONLY shower (for 3 rooms, each with 6/8 people) had troubles with the water temperature and drainage; Unirii is not as close as expected

Owner Comment (Show)
Dear guest, You and your friends spent a night in our hostel on the 30th of March when there were 20 degrees outside. Our hostel has a capacity of 12 beds (one dorm and 3 private rooms) and only 7 beds were booked - I think 3 toilets and 1 shower is a fair ratio. I don't know why you complain about the bathroom that was out of service considering you broke the door and used it anyway. Moreover, two days later you called and insisted to book with us again. Piata Unirii is no more than 5 minutes walk away, we never claimed we are right next to it.

Good and solid hostel with no specialties neither in positive or negative way. The location is nice and the rooms were clean and spacious.

A nice and clean Hostel. Only thing missing is a kitchen. If you stay longer, as we did, it is not that comfortable to have only a fridge and almost nothing else (water boiler and a few cups, tea, but no sink, no stove/oven). But the common room is quit nice and like the rest of the hostel clean. The stuff is very nice and helpful. If you can live without a kitchen, it is the right choice for a trip to Bucharest. It is near the downtown quarter and easy to reach by bus from the airport.
