EastSeven Berlin Hostel has a lot of thoughtful little extras like a printer, bike rental, happy hour, umbrellas and hairdryers, so it's little wonder they were rated #1 in Germany at the 2008 and 2009 Hoscars. This very clean hostel also features a large self-catering kitchen and an outdoor BBQ area where 'it's really easy to meet people if you are travelling alone', according to Hostelworld guests. To ensure that you have a fantastic time in Berlin, our English-speaking staff will happily provide you with maps, information and tips on where to go. Walking tours leave from our hostel twice a day. If you want to hang out, we offer a large kitchen and a cosy lounge in the garden-house. Maybe you fancy having a BBQ in our garden?
This is not a party hostel! We are (very) clean and offer a lovely, relaxed atmosphere where you can chat to our staff and make new friends.
We offer an all-you-can-eat continental breakfast with proper Italian coffee or good tea for only €2. We also try to cook a delicious dinner with you at sometime during the week - usually for a small non-profit fee.
Our laundry service is cheap and if you're online you can use our printer, DVD burner, Skype, etc. Did we mention the Wi-Fi is free?

Rooms include linen, 24hr hot showers, luggage storage and lockers and you can borrow hair dryers, phone chargers, padlocks, umbrellas and more!

Berlin can get a little cold in winter but fear not; we have central heating so it's always cosy and warm here. Our beautiful garden has a BBQ area as well and if you've got an early plane to catch we've got an alarm clock for you.
We're conveniently located between the hustle and bustle of Mitte (the city's central district) and charming Prenzlauer Berg; we're surrounded by cafés, restaurants, bars, clubs and great shops. We're also within walking distance of Alexanderplatz (the heart of Berlin).
This is the ideal place for travelers seeking the true spirit of Berlin.

I think what makes us special is that we're a well-organised, relaxed hostel in a cool and safe neighbourhood. It's a small and personal hostel - but also professionally managed. We offer a lot of extras to our guests, like free Wi-Fi, powerful hot showers, a private garden with a BBQ and happy hour from 8 to 10pm, with beer that's €1 for 0.5L.

Within walking distance you can find Alexanderplatz, Museum Island, Mauerpark, Kollwitzplatz and more. I recommend people take a walk down 'Casting Alley' (Kastanienallee) and then walk through Mauerpark to the Wall Documentation Centre.
I'd say our hostel is ideally suited for relaxed, adult travellers who want to meet other travellers and who prefer the chilled atmosphere of a small hostel instead of seeking the large teeny groups in the bigger chain hostels. Absolutely excellent. The hostel had a competitive price and it was located very close to the subway which takes you pretty much anywhere. The staff were young, enthusiastic, and willing to go out of their way to help you. The rooms were spacious and had proper ventilation. The bathrooms were spotless since they were cleaned multiple times per day. Finally the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking meals and there was an outdoor patio where you could sit and eat/relax.

Beautiful hostel in a great location! I was there on a Monday night and it was a bit tame/quiet, but the people who were hanging around were incredibly nice. The place was incredibly clean too!

This property has a 1 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
Reception is open from 7am until midnight.
Check-in is from 3pm til midnight.
Check-out is noon.
We accept cash, Visa and Mastercard but there's a small fee for credit cards.
There's no elevator, sorry - this is a nice old building.
We don't accept stag or hen parties.
We accept bookings of up to eight people via Hostelworld.
