Hostelworld says:

EastSeven Berlin Hostel has a lot of thoughtful little extras like a printer, bike rental, happy hour, umbrellas and hairdryers, so it's little wonder they were rated #1 in Germany at the 2008 and 2009 Hoscars. This very clean hostel also features a large self-catering kitchen and an outdoor BBQ area where 'it's really easy to meet people if you are travelling alone', according to Hostelworld guests. It's also close to the great bars, restaurants and shops in Prenzlauer Berg as well as Alexanderplatyz and Museum Island.

Property Information:

Hostelworld guests have nominated us every year as one of their Top 10 Hostels Worldwide in 2014 - 2006, incl. the Cleanest Hostel Worldwide in 2005! We're also highly recommended by Lonely Planet, Let's Go, Rick Steve's, etc.

To ensure that you have a fantastic time in Berlin, our medium size hostel will provide you with:
- friendly, multilingual staff
- great location in the centre of Berlin
- Free WiFi
- late check-out, free luggage storage
- maps, information and recommendations on where to go.
- walking tours leave from our hostel twice a day
- bicycle rental
- very comfy beds incl. reading light, lockers, wall sockets
- central heating and 24h hot showers!
- hang out in our kitchen, cozy lounge, green and quiet garden - fancy having a BBQ?
- laundry service, printer, phone chargers, padlocks, umbrellas and more ...

Please Note:
This is NOT a party hostel and we do NOT have an elevator!
NO stag or hen parties, max. of 8 people per group (even if you make several smaller bookings) and no persons under 18 (unless accompanied by a parent).
BUT we are (very) clean and offer a lovely, relaxed atmosphere where you can feel at home, easily chat to our staff and make new friends. Hang out in the garden and use our well equipped kitchen to prepare your own food - and if you feel like it, maybe even cook dinner for your fellow travelers - we provide the foodstuff and a little extra on top.

We offer an all-you-can-eat continental breakfast with proper Italian coffee and good tea for a very low price - or get a voucher for some of the nice cafés in our neighborhood.

Our Hostel is conveniently located between the hustle and bustle of Mitte (the city's central district) and charming Prenzlauer Berg.
We're surrounded by cafés, restaurants, bars, clubs and great shops and you can walk to Alexanderplatz (the heart of Berlin).

This is the ideal place for travelers seeking the true spirit of Berlin.

You can change or cancel your booking free of further charges until 12hoo (am) - 2 days before arrival (local time). Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay. Payments made to 3rd party cannot be refunded by the hostel.

I think what makes us special is that we're a well-organised, relaxed hostel in a cool and safe neighbourhood. It's a small and personal hostel - but also professionally managed. We offer a lot of extras to our guests, like free Wi-Fi, powerful hot showers, a private garden with a BBQ and happy hour from 8 to 10pm, with beer that's €1 for 0.5L.
Within walking distance you can find Alexanderplatz, Museum Island, Mauerpark, Kollwitzplatz and more. I recommend people take a walk down 'Casting Alley' (Kastanienallee) and then walk through Mauerpark to the Wall Documentation Centre.
I'd say our hostel is ideally suited for relaxed, adult travellers who want to meet other travellers and who prefer the chilled atmosphere of a small hostel instead of seeking the large teeny groups in the bigger chain hostels. Female travellers also love it here because of the cleanliness. :)

Absolutely excellent. The hostel had a competitive price and it was located very close to the subway which takes you pretty much anywhere. The staff were young, enthusiastic, and willing to go out of their way to help you. The rooms were spacious and had proper ventilation. The bathrooms were spotless since they were cleaned multiple times per day. Finally the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking meals and there was an outdoor patio where you could sit and eat/relax.

Seriously a fantastic hostel. Pub crawl everyday if you are keen on heading out, they have recommendations on what to do everyday, everyone including the stafg were incredibly friendly, huge kitchen and awesome common room. The only downside i guess is the constant changing of door codes an internet codes.
