This hostel was small and cramped, there was no one at reception any of the times we needed help and it was much dirtier than a hostel should be. It was a good location, but the rest of it sucked.

Staff barely present and if asked about information very unfriendly and not helpful. Also veryunorganised - they didnt even know we were coming and gave us a different room than the one we had resered. Location is brilliant and facilities are ok. For a short stay that hostel is fine, even though the inverness locals described it as the worst hostel in town.

There was a sink in our room, which was nice, but the bathroom and shower rooms were a bit dingy. Not to mention when we tried to check in and out, we had to stand there for five minutes before someone came to open the reception room and help us. I would like to know why the staff can't just stay in the reception room, especially since check out time window is only two hours long. Plus they were playing music most of the night. I would probably choose somewhere else to stay.

Hostel receptionists are quite creepy and unorganised. The beds are very high and we were unable to tell wether or not our beds were made when we arrived!! Very cheap, but therefore not much comfort!

Rooms were tiny, showers were dirty, kitchen was dirty (sponges for washing dishes were not replaced during the 3 days we stayed at the hostel). Service was not very friendly.

It was alright for the night, the bedding was fine etc my only concern was the kitchen was a complete mess, there was a lack of crockery and cutlery, it was unclean and all the pots and pans were almost unusable becuase the handles were breaking.

I am sure the staff are not the people making any money out of this place - they were kind, obliging and smiling. But oh dear - cheap yes, but does basic have to mean so so so scruffy?

One of the worst hostels i´ve been to. The good thing is that it´s central and cheap. Not recommended for more than 1 night

I just stayed one night at this hostel. It was ok, but nothing special. Location is top, it is situated directly in the city centre. The owner was not working in the hostel, while my stay in this hostel, instead to quite strange people were doing my check in and check out, definitly not happy about their work and their boss.

The staff is not really warm, the room was dirty. The price was OK but the service is poor.

Simply the worst hostel I've never been. No one is there, ever. No staff or you seem to disturb them. Noisy. Smelly. Dirty.

I think the Hostel is in a good location, but is in bad need of a refurbishment.

The hostel felt very under-staffed. I barely saw anyone who worked there and before the outside door closed at night anyone could walk up from the street and make it to my room door with no hindrance. Also I would recommend that you keep the light on in the front area always - the benefit of staying in a hostel or hotel is that you are not alone, and someone will at least leave the light on for you when you get home. Location was great and price was great.
