I was just going to stay 2 nights, but I ended up staying 7. The town is awesome and I met so many great people through Easy Go. The staff are so friendly and are always there for a chat, they even upgraded my room to a double with a balcony and brilliant view. I would recommend to everyone to meet travellers and build friendships. I cant wait to come back to Vang Vieng. Best place in Asia so far!

Great hostel with great view! The atmosphere is great! Really nice to meet other people! And the staff is alao lovely! Regarding security, that is an issue, you cant lock your rooms, but you have lockers where you can store your values. The sad thing is that people that are robed, they are robed by others backpackers... And thats shamefull. And its not the hostel's fault. Really recomend it!

Great value for money hostel in vang vieng! Met some great people and it's definitely the place to stay if you are looking to socialise. About a 5 minute walk from the tubing shops 😃.

Decent hostel in a good location. The staff are really nice and try to learn your names. Very helpful on booking onward travel. Only bad thing was their was only 1 working plus socket in the room for 6 people.

Great place with stunning views!

Easy go guesthouse is quite close to the bus station. It takes about 8-10k kip from the station to the guesthouse by tuk tuk. We booked a dorm for 3pax. The room was quite ok with bamboo design but there had no locks with keys (someone can easily open the door when you're outside). You can use lockers with your own locks and keys. So, remember to bring your own locks. Nice staffs and warm atmosphere. I think they should clean spider webs on the ceiling and toilets.

As everyone else has said, you get what you pay for! For about £2 a night we had two double beds each which weren't the comfiest we've had but were absolutely fine and the hostel was really cute and friendly! Close to centre and tubing places and would definitely recommend!

Obviously it isn't going to be anything special for the price but it is excellent value and the staff are lovely. No complaints!

We stayed in the private rooms across the road and they weren't the cleanest but for less than £5 for a double room per night it was amazing value! We also got a discount on departure. Had great food for breakfast from the lady on the stall under the hostel. Staff are friendly too. A bit of a walk into the main strip but at least its quiet at night!

A pretty basic hostel but you do get what you pay for. We stayed across the road in the dorm rooms and they were pretty nice especially for only 25k kip a night. Really easy to meet people and there are lockers for your valuables. Good location for tubing and to walk to the bars. The dogs are the cutest too!

Had a good time in this hostel. Rooms are not very clean, lot of spiders and spiderwebs. No air con so mosquitos where everywhere. Beds where gold, shower was okay, location andere staff great. Rooms across the street are a bit better but rooms cannot be locked. Lockers are available. Had a good time here!

Really good hostel, especially considering the price. Friendly, helpful staff who served good breakfast and all day food (not included in the price, but the convenience was a blessing). Great place to meet people, everyone there seemed more than happy with the stay so i dont quite understand the negative reviews on this page. would thoroughly recommend.

Hands down the best staff and hostle I have come across in Laos they actually had time to speak to you and help you no job was too big or small for them and they were very efficient and helpful.location was a few mins walk from the centre but I actually proffered it as there was noise from all the bars and it's the closest hostel to the end of tubing. The rooms Concidering how cheap they are were also too a very good standard. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again :)

Pretty damp and unclean but you get what you pay for!

Definitely a case of get what you pay for...bit out of the way from central town. Not as social as expected as rooms across the road from reception which has a small sitting area, but as next to river v mosquitoy. No locks on doors so anyone could wander in off road. Mouldy rooms were fine but water cut out for couple of hours in morning, not great when hungover! I moved after one night. Plus side staff lovely and cheap laundry. I wouldn't stay here again unless really had no money left!
