Easy Palace City Hostel Reviews

While the staff were helpful, the atmosphere of the hostel was downright obnoxious and nearly painful. There was loud blaring music, what you would expect at a club or high-school dance, all hours of the day (literally! even in the morning). It was hard to stand, especially when wanting quiet time to read or go online for business. If you're wanting a reminder of what dorm life in college or high school sleepovers is like, stay here. So annoying.

Everything was great and we were happy with our stay. Unfortunately the showers were cold in the morning, but since we were in a hurry we didn't notify any staff - so we can't really complain.

Well, I was told check out was at 10am, and the maid came in at 9am and kicked me out and said i couldn't sleep anymore. When i asked if i could just lie down a bit more she looked at me and said, "NO." I have stayed at about 60 or 70 hostels in my life and NEVER, even at the worst hostels, has that happened. On a brighter note, the rest of the staff was lovely, but that maid with crazy hair needs to be straightened out!

The room was smelly and the bathroom in the room was very very dirty.

Good location close to pretty much everything you need in Munich. Staff were friendly, helpful, and multilingual.

the guests-kitchen is a little bit small for such a big hostel. may be 2 chairs and a little table would be nice in the 8 bed mixed dorm. it has been a fine stay in your hostel.Thanks to the staff!

Internet is not free... They are charging extra money for internet. By reducing the room charges they are making money from internet as everyone needs internet anyhow, so they are compensate the room charges in this way...

The Easy Palace was very nice and the staff was very friendly.

Average hostel with to many problems.First problems with room.Room Was not ready so i waited few hours.Then problems with kitchen.Also there is not free WI-FI.People must pay and i can say that there was not fun like other hostels.The good think is the locations.It is close to city center.

The kitchen is broken, and they can't repair it.

Was a good place to stay. Easy enough to get to and around from there. Could probably use some shower doors on the showers instead of the water going all over the bathroom floor. Good value for money, although might look at other options before I decided to go back there.

The hostel provided all that my boyfriend and I were looking for, a basic place to stay, that was clean and in a good location, so we were happy staying at Easy Palace Hostel. It was nice to find a hostel that wasn't full of heaps of young people just wanting to party. If this is what you're looking for I would opt for another hostel. The only problems we had concerned getting cold water in the room, and getting the toilet flushing but when we asked about it, it more or less got sorted.

The room was large, private and newly renovated but the bathroom (particularly the shower) hadn't been cleaned and the shower had a serious drainage problem. The staff weren't in the least bit helpful or friendly to us, which I guess is why the atmosphere was non existant.

The location was good,near a metro station,supermarkets and the central railway. The rooms were very spacious and they're pretty new and well equipped, but the shower was clogged.The kitchen was too small,it has limited utensils and it hasn't got a regular oven,only a microwave one. It also smells awful in there!

There wasn't hot water in the morning to take a shower neither saturday nor sunday, maybe because of the people. Anyway I ask for a solution and there weren't anyone. So two days taking a shower woth cold water in december.

great location.... you can walk from Munich HBF... and to MarienPlatz... Very nice place... clean and great! I would definitely stay there again....

Standard hostel -- lockers in room (bring a lock) about the size of a drawer), decently clean, comfy bed.

The location is less than 10 minutes away (walking) from the main station, Hauptbahnhof. My only complaint is the lack of shower curtains.

Pretty cool hostel, it was a last minute decision to stay here, but it was a good one! Nice place, clean, safe area, supermarkets, grocery store, bar, restaurant, atm all close by, only a couple of quick stops from the city centre.
