After traveling to over 75 countries and staying in hundreds of hostels and hotels around the workd its hard to recal a worse hostel than this one. I won't go into the details about the grafitti, holes punched in the walls or kicked in doors if you stay here you can see for yourself. But Apparently the only way to distract yourself from the fact that you are staying or or for most of the resident here "living in" the biggest dump in Australia is to get hammered every night on cheap boxed wine

They do have friendly staff over there, is nice location nearby the city and China town, don't need to worry about food, just close couple bars there, so a little bit noisy. The building is also a little bit old, water of shower isn't strong enough. But I do enjoyed, cause they give me a own room by myself. If don't mind old facilities, is good choose.

We have been travelling around asia for a while and have just got to Aus. We dont ever normally judge by reviews on hostels and have NEVER written one before but this place was just so bad we had to write something!! It was ok in the evening when people settled but there were no plates so we couldnt eat dinner, (you have to pay a $20 deposit for cutlery....but then cant have any because they have run out!) Its dirty and people were getting things robbed all the time. Dont stay here.

The first time I saw a receptionist in the morning, he was hammered. Although the cleaning lady did a good job, the tenants did a good job to trash everything. The facilities need to be maintained - shower heads not working, light bulbs out etc.

The hostel is dirty (even the sheets you sleep on), there is no light in the toilets and there is no electricity in the bathroom. There were 2 people (non paying guests) sleeping on the floor of my room when I woke up.. The noise from the outdoor area was going on the whole night and whenI walked out to have a look even the guy from the reception was joining in the noise making. When I did my complain the same guy from the reception was very rude to me.. So I left.

The rooms and facilities are very run down, bed bugs in the rooms. There is no a\c and it needs double glazed windows to reduce the noise of the city

Terrible hostel, regret giving them my money. I moved after 3 days. Plenty of better hostels nearby.

The place was very unclean and the toilets very dirty. I would never even give this place another chance. I would rather pay an extra $10 a night for a more well kept place

This is the most disgusting place I've been in two years of travelling. The smell in the room was unbearable. Had to wait 7pm to get my bed sheets.... There are very few bathrooms and they are terrible. Booked one week, but left as soon as possible.The manager initially didn't want to give me refund. He finally accepted after some insistence. It's cheap but definitely not worth saving 5 dollars a night compared to other hostels. Keep your dignity and stay somewhere else.

Great Hostel, Friendly staff and people staying there

I returned to my room in the hostel (prepaid) to find my bed stripped and my towel, washbag and clothes missing. After waiting 40 minutes for the receptionist to return from an extended break I found that the manager had taken my belongings, as non-paying tennant had convinced him that I had stolen his bed. I wish I could recommend this hostel as the price is very competitive, but after this event I didn't feel happy leaving any belongings, valuable or not in the room and decided to move.

The worst hostel iv ever stayed in!!!

I guy lost his stuff while he were staying there. The room I stayed in was very filthy! The hostel doubble booked a bed, sone of the guys lost his bed eventhough he had paid for it - bad service!

It's like all the cheap hostel in perth unfortunately: poor atmosphere, dirty, kitchen not very furnished... But good position. I stayed in a double so I don't know the conditions of the dorms.
