This is a great place to stay. The staff is very friendly, is one of the cleanest places I have ever been. Plus you can cook and the have great Internet and laundry facilities. Great big tv room with a lot of movies. Love this place. Thanks so much for all your help.

we stayed two days here, but inside (including room and bathroom) was dirty. In our room, the fan was dusty and chewing gum was stuck on the bed.. the staffs are always watching movie and we never seen any stuff cleaned it up. we never stay here again.

Packed right in the center of Chinatown, this hostel was in the perfect location. Easily accessible to buses, taxis and the Central Market. Relatively nice room, basic bunk bed and fan with a few outlets for charging accessories. The facilities were 'under construction' on the first floor. Kind of like the Silence of the Lambs when using the toilet, if you are brave enough. The second floor was a lot nicer, computers and a chill room. 3.5/5

At the door the ask to take off your shoes, but the floors are so disgusting that you really can't walk barefoot. Breakfast is a bag of toast with a jar of jam filled with ants. The communal room smells as if something died there. Damp, cramped rooms without windows. Cockroaches in the very badly designed, never cleaned showers. Unhelpfull staff sits in front of tv all day.

A good place to stay for a couple of days. The cleanliness and comfort are average but consistent with the price. The location is great and the staff very friendly. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and we would definitely go back there to spend another week-end in KL!

WARNING: this place thinks a 'twin room' has a queen bed, while a 'double room' has two twin beds. I have no idea what idiot made that decision, the front desk claimed they couldn't change it, but be careful when you book on Hostelworld. I did not enjoy cuddling with my mate. Other than that, the place is pretty good -- clean rooms, good common area, big DVD collection, and toast for breakfast.

Only there for one night, and very much served the purpose as somewhere to crash while transitting! Booked a double and ended up with bunks, but the room was clean and the beds comfy enough. Bathroom situation is not great- though I understand they are re-doing the downstairs ones, so should be less of a problem in the future!

Very basic small rooms but really clean. Good location in crazy china town..5 min walk from bus and train station. Free toast tea and coffee. Free fast wifi. Good for a couple days in kl.

I had a wonderful time at Eclipse! I stayed in the dorm room and got to know the other awesome people that were there. The hostel is in an ideal location and the staff is very friendly and makes you feel really welcome. It was very much like a home away from home and I was sad to leave. Breakfast in the morning was nice, simple but didn't need any more. The place will be even nicer once the downstairs bathroom is complete. Thanks Eclipse! Miss you already!

The hotel was at a good location with value for money. Clean and happy atmosphere. However the internet was a bit turn down. The wifi never reached the far away places like the kitchen or restroom on the first floor.

thought the hostel was nice for what it was, with the price and what not, the only downside was the shower situation, terrible drainage and they were upstairs so it was a pain to walk up stairs to take a shower. besides that the staff was very kinda and the rooms were nice. no lockers though.
