An absolutely beautiful place to stay, but we found it hard to get a ride to Tayrona NP. The hostel is located on the road that leads to Tayrona, but by the time the buses reached us from Santa Marta most were full and just drove past. This could have been because of Semana Santa (everything was crowded everywhere), but it would have been much easier for us if we tried to get to Tayrona from Santa Marta. That being said, I'm very glad we got to stay in this little piece of paradise for a night.

This is a GREAT place to stay if you are visiting P. Tayrona. It's 2km from the entrance (walkable) and you are NOT stranded - there are heaps of restaurants on the highway outside the Parque entrance and frequent buses going past the door of the Hostal to get you there. Sleeping here is preferable to being cheek by jowl with a billion campers inside the park and the river across the road is nicer and more peaceful to swim in than the Parque beaches. Owner Nelly is gorgeous - inside and out.

Incredible enviroment in the middle of the forest. Big and comfortable rooms with nice views and good people who always recomend you the best options of Tayrona area.
