Beds to thin - not very comfortable. Shower very powerful and hot. Nice chilled atmosphere with hammocks, bike rental and the man who owns this place was really lovely and helpful. However there were a few strange/high guys which kind of worsened the atmosphere of the place. About a 40 min walk out of town so not the best location.

So beautiful and friendly!

Coleen was a lovely, hospitable host. My room and common areas were warm and homely. Kitchen had fireplace and all the cooking amenities. Shower was hot and had good water pressure. Not right in the city centre so would be better for those with own transport. I felt very comfortable here and would stay again

Good service bathroom could do with some cleaning

John was incredibly nice and welcoming! He suggested a couple of restaurants for us to eat at and we decided to have Thai food at Thai Orchid. It ended up being one of the best places we have ever eaten. Thanks John! This hostel is great place to stay in Hastings. Don't forget to pick feijoas, persimmons, and walnuts!
