Plumbing leak in bathroom. Floor always flooded with wet towel and dirty. Unsanitary. Also broken toilet seat that was not attached. Outside environment was maintained and clean. Breakfast was very good with a variety of breads and fruit and good coffee. Friendly environment with outdoor kitchen.

Front desk staff was delightful, helpful and very kind. Facilities were great - love dthe roftop terrace and options for more private accommodations. Location is great, easy access to subway, close to great restaurants, wine stores, grocers and all.

Stayed only one night in 6 bed dorm. Huge Hostel in great area. Nice staff and good common areas. Beds were a little wobbly but fine. Lockers only work with absolutely right-sized locks (not too small, not too large). Not much going on, but it was quiet season when I was there. Would stay here again.

The women staff at the hostel were fantastic, however the males were not as accommodating. Breakfast was plentiful, the hostel was clean and in a great location. Would certainly return. Lockers were unsecure and require a bigger lock.

Great hostel. The guy who works the desk is very surly, can't believe he's allowed to work there. The rest of the experience (including the 3 other girls that work the desk) was great!

friendly staff in a very clean and well located hostel. atmosphere was a bit lacking, really not much going on in there. biggest problem for me was the 3 cold showers in 3 nights, and the hot room with an air conditioner that didn't work. Overall not great value for money.

Wasn't impressed. Lockers are small, and not secure as I was able to open with lock attached. Not enough outlets in rooms. Waited outside 30 minutes one night (was only 21:30), unable to get in, b/c staff member, who appeared out of it, passed out at desk. Mattress in lounge area was discarded by maids and tossed on roof (not replaced during 4-night stay), making me doubt cleanliness. Chopped fruit was recycled past freshness. Location is the redeeming quality along with 2 of the staff.

Near a subway station, a supermarket, and lots of nightclubs.Eugenia on staff was really cool; the Venezuelan guy must've been having a really bad week.Common area is nice, perhaps a bit too big (makes it harder to chat with strangers). The main door needs to be opened from reception (no keys), and the door to the dorms too (with a LOUD buzzer, like something a prison would use; wakes everyone up throughout the night). Kitchen is lame. Cleanliness isn't their priority. Might stay again, likely not.

It was great. Very helpful and kind staff, an awesome location, and we even had a private bathroom in the 6 person mixed dorm. No complaints whatsoever.
