I really enjoyed the hostel a very nice place to take a break .
I stayed 4 nights at Ecolodge and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. It is located about 1.5 km from Copacabana, but is a very pleasant walk along the beach. It is a very quiet place where at times I was content to just sit around the outside in a variety of chairs or relax in the hammock. I had a cabin to myself, very comfortable bed, extremely clean and fresh looking room and wonderful bathroom with hot water. Breakfast was terrific- juice, coffee, fruit salad, cereal, yoghurt and bread.
The lodge is really nice, cute little houses, view over the lake. It's not far away from downtown Copacabana. Maybe a 15 minute walk , next to lake. However, its impossibel to go walking because there will be lots of dogs attacking you. The girl from the Lodge was helpfull if you would ask her something, but she wouldnt give information herself, it didnt seem to be here dream job. Great breakfast. Internet only in the lobby.
I like the concept and the hostel has big comfortable rooms (all seperate buildings). It's a nice place to chill out in the sun. But the hot water only lasted for about three minutes and it's really far from the town. It's about a 20-minute walk along the beach. At night, you must have a torch, there is no lighting at all and it can be scary. Staff are friendly, but English is difficult.
It is the best place to relax in a quiet environment and privileged position nearby the shores of Lake Titicaca. Very charming and home feeling giving cottages. And excellent food with kind service.
The location is great if you don't mind a ten minute walk to town. Cute houses with lots of natural light. Endless hot water a big plus and nice bathrooms. Cold at night you'll need a warm coat and no heating but you won't find that in most other places no matter how cold it gets. No wifi in the rooms I could feel the altitude here and drank lots of tea but still felt a bit tired. Only about 15 minutes from the Peruvian border. If you are American you'll need a visa $135.00 The lodge
