Everything was perfect except for the high price. But the reason of the high rate was the New Year Eve surge prices (usual for the Amsterdam), I have paid 5 nights for 3 nights stay because of the special NYE conditions. For my stay, everything was perfect, they have helped for really late night chek-in (thanks again). The atmosphere, cleanliness, staff and the facilities were excellent.

The common areas of this hostel are among the best I've seen. The great room and open kitchen, in particular, are well setup both to do your own thing and meet lots of interesting people. I wish they had breakfast, but the grocery around the corner is very good.

the staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. The bathrooms are shared by both genders and the showers have one standard pressure and temperature. You just push a button and water comes out and stops after a while, this can get annoying if you like controlling your water temperature. Also, at night you can hear the water running through the pipes once someone uses the shower or flushes the toilet. This hostel is in a great location and is great for lone travellers who wish to socialise!

Beautiful and super hipster hostel. Very well located and easy to get to from the waterlooplein station. Very warm and friendly staff. I stayed in a girls room with 6 other beds, all occupied, didn't have anything to complain about in the room. There are common toilets for the entire floor, so you will be sharing it with upto 30 other people. That being said, there was always an empty toilet available when needed. Cool activities planned by the staff throughout the week.

Easily the best hostel I've stayed at. Staff were very helpful and friendly, facilities were clean and the design of the overall hostel was lovely. Great location - can walk to all the various sites. The coffee shop out the front even had amazing food and coffee for breakfast and throughout the day.

Great hostel! Staff are friendly, decor is cool and the cafe connected is awesome! They provide bikes and discount vouchers that make exploring Amsterdam sites so much easier and cheaper!

The best hostel I have ever stayed in, no question. The common area and kitchen are great, the atmosphere is very social, and Chris and Camille were both absolutely wonderful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Amsterdam.

The hostel had a laid back feel to it, there were meant to be movie and games nights on the days l were there but none of them happened. The room l was in had no individual light/lamps at the beds and all power points were either at the front or back of the room. Watch your food in the fridge you have to label each item individually, l put mine in a bag and labelled the bag which they threw out for not being labelled properly however it had made its way to the staff food bag.

We had a room without window, thats unpleasant. Make sure that there is a window befor you book a Basic Twin Private Room. In the night it was noisy, I always had to wear earplugs. But the rest was awesome. Nice people from all over the world. The staff was very helpful and the location was also very good. So I really recommend this hostel but not the Twin Private Rooms, because they are near by the common area and the reception.

This is a STUNNING hostel, located in the Waterlooplein area, which is just a 10 minute walk from the start of the center of the city, and just 5 minutes from the metro and supermarkets. It is beautifully designed and there is every amenity available. I did not stay in a dorm room, but in a the Double Private Superior which was fantastic,. It came with it's own bathroom (a huge bath and shower) and en-suite loo. GREAT hostel, GREAT staff. GREAT fun.

Good hostel. Good location. I don't know if was because of the winter but it was not a good vibe for party. If you are travelling by yourself maybe is not the best option. If you are in a group you should definitely go there! Good facilities and location (near supermarket, liquor store and subway station). You can rent a bike near there too. Showers and toilets were very clean and the room is good.

I loved this hostel! I went during the down-season for traveling in Amsterdam, so the hostel wasn't packed, but I really like to low-key energy to the place. Not really the kind of place if you're looking to party like crazy, but there's plenty of that in Amsterdam. If you're more into something that's really nicely decorated and clean and beautiful with a huge common area, this is a great hostel to stay at!
