Everything was ok, great value for money. I recommend.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great place if you want somewhere quiet. There's a tour company that offers great trekking tours right in the guest house compound.

Nothing to complain about :). Rooms are comfortable enough, the staff are ultra-friendly and the guy at the reception has its own travel agency and he arranges very cheap hiking trips, cooking school -- much cheaper than other travel agencies.

You get what you pay for...if you are looking for cheap accommodation that is some what decent then it's fine. The bed was very uncomfortable... You could feel the springs unfortunately and the toilet always smelt. Hot shower though and small outdoor space. Tum who does the tours there speaks pretty ok English and is very friendly and helpful. Good location close to moat yet on a quiet street.

If you find cheapest guest house near old city. You should book here. It is placed soi 1 Chaipoom near Tapae gate. But it is suitable for couple because of only double rooms. Just try then you will be ok.

There were many cockroaches in the hostel, especially in the bathrooms. No A/C, and the staff isn't available after 6pm. But I guess that's what you get for a cheap price.

Simple basic accommodation , good value for money and centrally located.

Functional hostel out of the main tourist/ backpacker zone in a quiet location. Site not so important for activities like trips out &adventure sports as most companies will collect. For nightlife means a walk or tuktuk ride - but centre of CM is not that big anyway. A few small cafes around for b/fast and food. Staff were friendly, helpful and recommended certain activity organisers over others based on their own experience. Overall security could be improved.

Very friendly staff! Great for the price! Good location too!

The staff are so lovely here. Rooms are comfortable and clean and location is perfect. Close to thapae gate but down a side street so is nice and quiet at night. We liked it so much that we returned here on our 2nd visit to chiang Mai.
