I've stayed in the dorms before and would really recommend them. This time I stayed in a private room. Things began badly when there was a misunderstanding over photographic ID; I had taken the passport and driving licence to be examples of photo ID to bring, the woman on the desk took them to be the specific ID needed -You really need to specify because medically I can't drive and passport renewal is pricey. Toilet seat was broken, windows manky and heater contumacious - otherwise, all fine.

Its located in a great place - you can just walk to most locations. The staff was very good & helpful. The room was a little smelly, but it definitely felt safe. Since this place is so centrally located, there is no overnight car parking near the hostel. We were advised to go park it at the train station ~0.5 miles away & had to pay extra for that.

Very central and not too loud considering it is in such a central location. Staff were very friendly, rooms and bathrooms were tidy and well kept too.

A very nice hostel with everything you could ask for. Location is great and there are a nice mix of guests. There are plenty of bathrooms and wifi is ok, even if the signal some times goes weak. The common room got a tv and on weekends it's easy to hang out with people there. Bad point is the lack of mirrors in (men's) bathroom, only one infront of the urinals which makes it difficult to shave and so on.

Great location. Quiet rooms although very central. We were not in the main hostel so no wifi 🙁 The bathrooms were clean but the shower was handheld only with very poor pressure which meant a shower took a long time so used extra hot water. No functional cold tap in bathroom. Good kitchen facilities. Comfortable and clean beds. Would recommend for location alone
