The owner (Andy) is a lovely person. The place is secure, clean, beautiful, calm, modern, in the center of the city, close to a Tesco, and even more than what you expect for the price. Sure I recommend this place!! I could even take my parents there!!!

The Edinburgh EuroLodge Hostel was fine; the owner was nice and very accommodating. The location is good and nearby to downtown, and very quiet. However, the kitchen is shared and often very dirty; not their fault but as there are no staff on the premises it is hard to manage. It was hard to coordinate with the front desk (off site) and there is no sense of atmosphere or character. I would stay here again but I would not call it a hostel, it is certainly an apartment, and not ensuite as stated.

No reception desk, no breakfast, and we had to wait almost 2 hours to get a room. On the other hand the room and the bathrooms were pretty cleam, and the location was really good!
