Wifi didn't work very well in the room. Rooms were quite nice but the bed was like sleeping directly on springs.

Its more like a self catering hotel than a hostel which is what I wanted. The bed wasn't comfortable and there is a lot of noise from the street, so leave the window closed!

The noise was too much. You can hear any door being opened within your block (around 5 rooms). The staff were very nice and helpful. No lift; be ready to walk up up to four floors or so. The room is too small.

Ideally situated for much of the Fringe activities. Room basic but clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Remember to bring a towel. I would recommend ear plugs to block out street noise but pleasantly surprised at the lack of noise from within the block itself. Good value for what I paid. I would definitely use these facilities again for attending Fringe events.

Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Could do with more provisions in the kitchen - crockery, cutlery, pots, pans etc as some people would like to make their own food & this was difficult. Price has gone up substantially in past couple of years but I suppose it reflects the current climate. Hope it doesn't go up much more next year!

For using the internet creating an account is necessary and be not surprised when it will not work at once. Accommodation before 4 pm not possible, but you can stay your luggage in a special room. A reconstruction of the hostel yeard is in progress, so when you like to sleep longer, be prepared for incoveniance. For payment trhe key deposit prepare GBP 10 in cash (better exactly amount) In any case frendly and helpfull staff, good location and not so expensive taking into account all facilities

10 am is way too early to be checking out! 12 noon would be much better.

Great for what it is. Basic, noisy, well located Uni. accommodation.

Great to have a private room for the price of a dorm bed - perfect for single travellers. Bathrooms are large and private, kitchens also seemed good for cooking although I didn't make use of this myself. I had some problems connecting to the wifi, although there is an ethernet cable in each room if you're travelling with a computer. There apparently should be access from the kitchen of each apartment, but I was barely able to pick this up - it may have been a one-off problem.

Nice location, clean hostel. And also ensure your privacy with cheap price The only bad thing is that they don't have lift. However. The other factors are very satisfactory. I would stay there again and again!!

The kitchen is big and stocked with pots, pans and dishes. My bed is uncomfortable because the padding is so thin that I can feel some springs poking. The bath room should be better stocked such as waste basket and paper towel.

Nice to have own room and good location, near the Royal Mile. Light on for atmosphere though. There is no common room or games room or bar, so not the place to go if you want to meet people and have a fun hostel experience.

This hostel is clean and located in good location. The wifi strength was not too strong: connect-disconnect many times (Block 7, Flat 6). A bit noisy due to there's a pub or restaurant nearby.
