Edwin's Art Guesthouse -former Downtown Guesthouse Reviews

So this isn't exactly a hostel, it's a guest bedroom in Edwin's apartment. Either way, this place was great! We arrived about 5 hours earlier than expected and let us keep our stuff in the room. Super clean, gives you a key to outside entrance/bedroom- bedroom locks so all your stuff is safe. Edwin's a good guy, well worth it for the money.

I had a great time at Edwin's, he was very nice to me. The hostel is very well located, next to tram, metros, supermarkets, and not very far from the major attractions of Amsterdam. The room was big enough and the bed was awesome!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Edwin's for an anniversary trip to Amsterdam and loved the cosy atmosphere of this hostel! The room was perfectly clean and very warm, and it was a pleasure to go back to at the end of the day. The bathroom was also always clean and had everything you need (shampoo, hair dryer, etc). Edwin was just lovely and if I went back to Amsterdam I would stay here again :)

I absolutely loved Edwin's Guesthouse. My room was clean, along with the bathroom. Edwin was flexible on my arrival time and was fun to talk to when I got back to the house. The bed was comfy and there was a great place to get breakfast downstairs. I would say that the only downside is that it's noisy at night; although, once I was asleep, it never woke me up. I would stay here again if I'm in Amsterdam.
