I spent 5 nights at Eight Elephants and I felt really comfortable there, specially Taiwanese staff members are very helpful and so friendly. If you're travelling alone in Taipei, Eight Elephants is a great place to be.

The staff and location is very good. There is better if the dorm room is seperated by male and female.

Eight Elephant's like a second home--always a pleasure coming back again. Even when Taipei's weather disappoints with drizzle and typhoons, the staff and guests at EE make everything cozy and friendly again.

Despite being alone in Taipei, Eight Elephants gave me a great help in my planning of itinerary and their hospitality. I remember on my second day, they offered me great suggestions and places that i have never been before (since that was my second time in Taipei). Not only did it became a hostel to me, it was the coziest home i have ever stayed. Moreover, they even extended their hospitality to me when i was already home. As i left some of my clothing there. Lots of character and small so great place to meet people. Hard to tell who's staff and who lives there which is cool until you need something.

Great hostel. Real cozy with people strumming guitars and chilling in the common room all night long. The location is a little sketchy but once you know it you\'ll be all right.

This is not a party hostel, it's more like staying at a house with all your friends. It's cozy, has an immense amount of character and is very accessible. The girls who work there are all stunning! Season is an awesome guy too, and Dan has his little corner there. A good bunch of people.
