Unfortunately there was one weak memeber of staff which ruined our experience of an otherwise good hostel. He refused to let us pay by card one day yet allowed us on the next, and continually forgot things including towels, room key and ultimately our passports. There was a lack of communication which lead to this issue not being resolved over three days but the reception manager who eventually resolved it was thorough, thank you for this.

Really great hostel - bar is cheap and food is good! Really nice to have a pool and big area around to relax in. Breakfast is AMAZING!! We only marked down a little because the bathroom in our dorm was a bit old and scruffy and it's a little walk into town. 100% recommend!

A little disappointed with the stay, the pictures are deceiving and the price was a bit much for what you get. Stayed in a 6 bed dorm, the room and bathroom was clean and the bed comfortable. The first night the room was freezing, we told the staff in the we told them again and they sorted it and had a more comfortable night. The restaurant food was good and breakfast ok. It's about a 30 minute walk from the palace and other sites.

Really great hostel. Great social area to take a break from the city stuff. The pool was fab when you wanted to come back and cool off. Food was more expensive than outside (obviously) but good and quick. Best part was the free breakfast which was fantastic! Staff were lovely and very helpful. It's about a 25 minute walk to the city center / river front where the markets and palace are. But the walk is fine and there are tuk tuk drivers outside. Tour to S21 and killing fields for $18 (between 4)

Stayed in the 18 bed pod room, it was awesome! Very private and the bed was really comfortable and spacious. Lockers under the bed were really big. Breakfast was a choice of eggs, noodles, rice or fruit. Food from the bar was really nice and reasonably priced. The staff were nice and friendly! Tuk tuk drivers for the hostel are outside so you can go where you need, barter with them a little as they do hike the price up a bit. Really recommend pod room it was a good experience and I slept well!

Had an awesome time staying at eighty-8. The hostel has a really cool set up with a swimming pool, bar/restaurant and pool table, with plenty of communal space to hang out and meet people. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the stay a great one. They were helpful with recommending tours and things to do and checkout in the city as well. Shout out to Khloe for being a legend and cheers to all the other staff Cal and Saige, Australia

Nice atmosphere. Good cocktails. Rooms with AC. Nice staff. A bit out of the center though, but would stay here again!

We arrived late at night and our first impressions of the area weren't great. Pros - really friendly staff took us out, nice pool, bar, great service (Piseth and his passion fruit breeze were amazing), great market near by and kind tuk tuk driver. Cons - not much to do nearby need to travel for night life. Overall great place and value for money.
