This hostel was by far the best we stayed in throughout Southeast Asia. The staff were amazing & so so helpful. The food was amazing as was the pool & chill out area! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Cambodia!! We even extended our stay by 2 nights! Thanks for a lovely stay in Phnom Penh!! :-)

went there for the pool but it was closed so cancelled reservation Staff were happy to do so and were very helpful when booking a bus for me
We had a good time at 88 the local staff where super friendly and always willing to help awseome lounge area and bar.. 1 thing that pissed us off is the pool not in use due to scheduled maintenence I understand maintenance is needed but this should of been stated when we put the dates in as the selling point for us was the pool

The staff here are some of the best and most friendly staff you will find at a hotel/hostel anywhere in the world. They were so helpful in contacting the airport for me when the airline lost my luggage. The food here is good too.
Good pool area, however not much seating in the sun. The food was very nice and good prices, the hostel was not a party hostel. It had a very relaxed atmosphere, which was nice but we wanted to party so we went else where. The hostel is very close to riverside, which has various bars and restaurants. The rooms were very basic and the bathrooms were not very clean, but the shower did have hot water! Big lockers which can fit lots in however, pad lock is not provided so you must bring your own.
Great place to stay. Nice bar/ lounge/ pool table.
Had a lovely stay, best dorms out of all the hostels I stayed at as you get a proper bed and not a bunk bed. Lovely pool and chill out area and food and drink round the bar was really good value for money and also really tasty.
Great hostel with a lovely pool and area to relax. Staff are very friendly - make the most of happy hour! Overall would highly recommend!
Very nice hostel. Good bed and facilities, can buy all meals there and the pool also a positive. Played great classic rock music in the day, always good that! Only downside is it's a bit out of the way, and tuk tuks around there try and charge a lot
The pool is sick, the food is very nice 👌🏻good deals at happy hour, the location doesn't offer much as a town. Can smoke weed everyday 😉
Sufficient but didn't have the cosy atmosphere of the smaller hostels I've stayed in. Still a nice clean option with passable food and nice clean beds
I enjoyed staying at 88, there was a good atmosphere hanging around! They arranged a lot good activities, you can play pool, do shots or you can order happy stuff (what I think it's a little bit inaproppiate, because a lot of people do it and this attracts a certain kind of people). The dorms have airconditioning and a large bed which is really nice. Also no mosquitos to be found in the dorms, big win!
Stayed there overnight as a rest stop going from Saigon to Siem Riep. All we really wanted to do was chill in a pool and have a few drinks at the bar and this place was awesome for it. Happy hour between 5-7 was awesome and the bar staff were really cool people. Good atmosphere too if you want to socialise and have a couple of beers.
The hostel is fine. Good bar and pool area. I add breakfast there which was taste and not expensive. My only complaint is my room was directly above the bar and they played load music well into the night. I just didn't want this after a long day traveling.
Had a great stay here, only stayed for two nights but everyone was very friendly and hostel recommended tuk tuk drivers were brilliant :) only thing that we felt could have been different was if people smoking pot by the pool/eating area all day moved somewhere the smoke wouldn't blow towards us!
Solid hostel. They let us shower when we arrived at 6am, and helped organize a few drivers during our stay. Laundry was a bit expensive but done within 24h. Food was decent and the beer was cold!
Very nice hostel, helpful staff, good location. Best: the common area with bar and pool, very relaxed to hang out at and meet people from all over the world. Bar with good and cheap food also. I would always chose this again!
Had a lovely time at 88 Phnom Penh. Great atmosphere. Only criticism is to not let in people from other hostels eg to have an entry system whereby only residents of the hostel can use the pool etc because to my knowledge there were some people using the poolside lounge area and pool that had come from a different hostel that didn't have a pool just to use the pool.
During our time in cambodia we stayed twice at 88. The first time when we just arrived from Vietnam, we were only staying one but unfortunately my boyfriend got sick, extending our stay was no problem. They are also very kind to arrange bus tickets with a pick up service from the hostel, staff is very friendly. Drinks are nice and food is okay. Pool and common area/bar is a very nice place to hang out. Private rooms are spacious and dorms provide nice and big lockers.
