After weeks of dormitory stays without much privacy I was very happy to get my own room for the price of a dormitory bed. But it's not only about the bargain for a single room. The hostal is located close to the main plaza and next to a few nice restaurants, WIFI is strong, there is a cosy terrace and you can use the kitchen. The place is kept clean, hot water showers work and stuff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Great hostel. If you're after a private double with ensuite try to request a room on the roof terrace. The room opposite the reception feels like a letdown in comparison.
The hostel is very noisy! And the shower cold most times! However people work over there are great, the rooms are clean, and the location is perfect!
Great location with friendly staff. Kindly let us leave our bags for a night free of charge. Only problem was the bar next door played music that could be heard through the walls but other than that overall an excellent place!
I had a single, so just for the price that was excellent, this was a very basic room on the roof. The shower is solar heated so you have to time it right.
This hostel is located in the heart of city centre, 3 minutes walk to Main Square. Staff very helpful. Environment conscious, providing recycle bins for plastic and paper. It also provide many facilities for low budget travelers, such as kitchen and fridge where you can cook yourself, rope for hanging your washed cloths to dry outside, etc. it has a terrace where travelers can get together for travel experience exchange. Above all, room price is very low compared to others hotels in the area.
We arrived from Puno at 5am in the morning and although check in is supposed to be at 12pm they let us check in early which was greatly appreciated! Private room was a good size, decent hot showers and wifi. Located 5mins from plaza de armas. No complaints
We had read so many positive reviews, and our disappointment may have been due, in part to our high expectations. It's a room, a bed and a couple of plastic chairs on the roof, not much else. The bed wasn't great. In our private room, there was mold growing on the outside of the bottom half of our door, and we have mold allergies. After spending one morning there (we booked the night before our early morning arrival), we moved to another hostel. For a little more money much better can be found.
Good hostel whit verry good breakfast! Close to main plaza. Recomend!
Nice place to stay in Arequipa! Great location close to the plaza, restaurants, etc. Cool set up with staircases leading to rooms and bathrooms. Showers are solar powered but we got nice hot showers every time. No real hangout area, so not the best for meeting people. The double room upstairs by the terrace was a good value, but it seems like the other doubles were nicer rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall I'd recommend staying here.
Loved this place - very friendly staff especially the men that work in the evening and overnight. Excellent value for the money - the rooms are simple but clean and nice. Excellent location. I arrived at 5am on a night bus and although my room was still occupied they found me a place to sleep. LOVELY PEOPLE. B'fast is not included but for 3 soles you get a very nice coffee and warmed up chocolate croissant. Heaven!!!! I highly recommend!
