The reason that i gave a low rating in cleanliness is because i got bitten by bedbugs, it took me a while( afew days) to realise that it was bedbugs, cause so far i didnt have any experience with them. But one day i woke up at 5.30 in the morning to go to an excursion and i noticed a bug on the wall, when i kiiled it i saw my blood splattered on the wall, within one minute i killed another one. I was expecting a apology or some concern for the management but it never came.

Good hostel, friendly atmosphere and staff, good breakfast (dulce de leche :-) good wifi going on as well.

The atmosphere is not the best one for a hostel. A family with kids live there, so it's not the typical environment you want to find when you are in a hostel. The location is perfect and the facilities are ok

Despite other reviews we found this place to be a very welcoming clean and friendly hostel. The location is great, the hostel is very atmospheric, and we had a lovely relaxed quiet time in a beautiful part of the world. Couldn´t be happier. Its nice to stay in a hostel hostel not one trying to be an expensive tourist trap.

I had an excellent stay at El Argentino; very nice and helpful staff . I had a private room with shared bathroom which was excepcionally clean.

This place is in a good location, but that is the only good thing! We had a double room, with no fresh air, a stinky air blower an dirty sheets and floors. The bathroom facilities were below basics. We only stayed here one night and booked an other resedencia because we did not want to stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff!

This hostel is the worst we have stayed at. We would not let our worst enemy stay there. The place was absolutely filthy and completely run down. We refused to get under our bed sheets, the only bonus was we booked for 3 nights and were able to leave after 1. The bloke who served us breakfast was very nice, but the breakfast was awful, how someone can say that is home cooked bread I don't know.

They gave us a 3 sq meters rooms with no ventilation and 4 beds. The place is not clean at all, and is not located near downtown.

very friendly staff - they clean often - good facilities, lots of outdoor space - good, low key vibe!

We had booked for two nights but were sent an email two days before explaining that we could only stay for one night because the hostel had to be fumigated. Due to circumstances this did not suit us and therefore the hostel was kind enough to find us another place to stay right around the corner. They were very helpful and we are most thankful for what they did. We would stay here if I was in Salta again.

quite good breakfast, nice staff that prepare your coffee, tea, hot chocolate or whatever freshly for you. good location.

Good Hostel and cheap, central location and really friendly staff. Good showers with hot water. Enjoyed our stay here ! Good value for money! x

Pretty cool cheap hostel that hasdecent size kitchen and relatively comfy bunks. Can´t complain for the price. Also buying beer in the hostel is not too expensive.

Fantastic location to walk to everything, and very clean. Staff are really helpful, and make you feel really at home. Would stay again
