Nice clean 4 bedroom dorm with private bathroom. Close to main square. Staff was nice. Fellow travellers were all friendly. A good place to stay. One complaint is that the shower has no basin.. i.e. they water goes everywhere through the bathroom and it is in the same room as the toliet.. so water goes everywhere. Im not a builder, but I think that with a few bricks and tiles you could build some sort of water retainer rather than the relentless mopping every time someone wants to shower ¿ ¿ ¿

Really enjoyed our stay, great hostel, right in the centre of town although the computer needs thrown out and burnt or at least fixed.

The visits organized by IpUnA to the Quebrada de Cafayate are excellent! The guide very nice and with a lot of things to tell about the place. We really enjoy this visits! They are situated in the central place, don't hesitate to ask them any visit you want!

I liked the vibe of this hostel. I was there for 2 nights and met all sorts of people. The staff was really friendly and helpful despite me not knowing a word of spanish. The recommendations that they had for stuff to do around town was top notch also. The only real gripe I had was the amount of mosquitoes, flies and cockaroaches in the hostel. Whenever I tried to sleep there was always flies buzzing around my ear. It was really annoying.

The hostel is fine, but it is really expensive for what you get. I later found out that there are cheaper room options available if you do NOT book line. All options are not listed on Hostelworld.

Great rooftop terrace with view over the mountains and the village. Also very centrally located. But guys, one frying pan for the whole hostel? Nevertheless thank you for the good time!

Didn't like this hostel at all. We had a private room which was expensive, it wasn't cleaned once. We actually had to take out the bin from the toilet ourselves (loo roll cannot be flushed!). Breakfast was terrible. The whole place was a bit shabby. On another note, the ensuite bathroom door was missing a panel which was amusing as you could wave to each other from the loo. They offer tours and bike hire all of which are much cheaper on the main square (a 2 min walk away).

Clean, central location but the cleaner who makes breakfast is grumpy. You can have milk in your tea or on your cereal, not in both and she asked us to leave at 10am on checkout day eventhough breakfast is served until 10am. There are no smoking signs everywhere but the staff are allowed to smoke in the kitchen area..go figure!
