I was very grateful for the warm hospitality I received from the hosts. The owner of the hostel is a kindhearted Dutchmen with a wonderful family! I felt lucky to find such a nice place to stay for a couple of weeks - and right next the ocean and surfing as well! I will be returning in a few days.. God Bless - from Canada

Gijs is welcoming and helpful. The whole place was well maintained and secure. The only thing I thought my room needed was a mirror and better light. El Balsamo is a great value!

In the morning the smaller child entered my room, opened the door as I was changing my clothes. As a grown single woman! That was quite the experience. The Graduate? *MRS> ROBINSON* Would like immediate, and extremely easy access to the internet at all times.
