The staff wsn\'t very friendly. The lights were dim. There was only one bathroom for several rooms and the kitchen wasn\'t too good. No refrigerator, just a soft drink cooler.

It was nice enough for the price. I would have liked better pillows but, that is all I can really think of. Next time, I would defiantly pay extra for the room with the AC because it is super hot in Nicaragua.

I liked the place. Maybe they can start thinking about getting a kettle, a microwave and a refrigerator with freezer for the kitchen, maybe newer sheets wouldn't hurt.

This was not the greatest hostel as there was very little ambiance and as the hostel is an old colonial house, the rooms were a bit fragrant (particularly the bathroom). However, the location is quite convenient, very close to the bus station and to the central park, and some of the staff speak decent English, if you are unable to communicate in Spanish.

Had a private room. High ceiling but the partition between the rooms only went partway up. Some people in a neighboring room came in at 4 am and were talking and laughing. Sounded as if they were standing next to my bed. Bathroom waste was almost overflowing.

Rip off. I booked the twin room, which according to them was in fact just one full bed. The double was apparently the two twin beds. With out the other available we were forced to book another room. Ridiculous. Aside from that, the place is dingy and there are better options available.

Staff was helpful in getting my lost luggage to me. There was some language barriers, but we survived. Kitchen was semi-clean. This was really my first hostel experience and since then have stayed in better and worse places. :)
