It had a very nice view from the kitchen and common area, you can see the city from the top. It had a very nice kitchen and common area, they provided toast and coffee all day so that really helped a lot. Staff was really nice and bathrooms were really clean and it was a very nice experience. The only thing is that is a little hard to find because it's hidden through little streets and you have to go a way's way uphill to get there, but the view is worth it!

The place is so cute, it has so much character (it's pretty old). The only issue I had was getting my luggage up the stairs outside & inside (which I imagine you'd have at most places). The guy working there was super super nice, and he offered everybody drinks and stuff. A lot of the guests were just hanging out and drinking on the roof and you can see the city and it's pretty amazing if you're new. The morning we left the guy helped us find where we needed to get to on a very detailed map.

An excellent hostel. As the name (and other reviews) suggest, this hostel is hard to find. Very secluded, which adds a ton of great character but makes getting to other parts of the city a little more difficult. Granada is small so it was no big deal, but the hostel is on the opposite side from all the major attractions, in a residential neighborhood. That being said, the rooms are very comfortable and clean at a great price. The hostel has an intimate feel and an amazing staff. Great choice!

As a couple, we wanted a social yet romantic environment and El Clandestino had all of both. We reserved a private room with a view. The views were breathtaking, especially from the top floor patio area. Very calm and a short walk from the center. The staff is very helpful and friendly, but it is strongly advised that you pay up as soon as you arrive, because the staff are only available from 11am to 11pm, even if you knock on their doors because you have an early bus to catch. Overall,VERY GOOD

The name is very appropriate, as other reviewers have mentioned it is tucked away and unsigned, but had no issues finding it thanks to the detailed directions provided by another reviewer. Decent accommodations, close to the Albayzin and walking distance to the Alhambra (although it is quite an uphill hike to get there). Clean, fairly quiet, reasonable comfortable, great view from the kitchen/common area. Free internet (wi fi and they have a computer).
