El Granado is a very beautiful hostel - lovely refurbished building, very comfortable accommodations, and an extremely helpful staff. If I were to travel to Granada again, I would definitely stay there again!

The hostel facilities and location were great, its by far the cleanest, most modern and most comfortable hostel ive been in. You can really get a good night sleep here. However, although the owners were really nice and helpful, I found the afternoon/night receptionist Lena to be very rude, bitchy, impatient, uniterested and unhelpful and she alone kind of ruined my trip to granada as It was extremely hard to ask he for advice on the city. The hostel amtosphere also was not great.

Very centrally located, clean with attentive staff, good breakfast. The dorm room was rather small - it seemed appropriate for 4 beds, not 6, and there were three beds above each other, with very little space between them. The common area was the opposite of lively and cheerful: no music, a bit dark - it almost felt like you have to whisper there. Good choice if seeking a quiet place, and I felt like it was good value for money.

I loved my stay at El Granado. They were super clean and the hosts were super friendly. I especially want to thank Freddy for that marvolouse explanation of the city on the map. I quickly knew where to go,what to see, where to eat,and how to get around. He explained about tapas among other things. Very helpful staff. The building itself is a few hundred years old but the inside is beautifully renovated while keeping the old architectural structure once used by Islamic Spain.

One of the best hostels I've ever been to. It felt almost like home. Very clean and cozy and with a staff super kind and friendly and just a few minutes walk from all the places to go in Granada.

Great hostel, in an excellent location and with a great staff, who won't hesitate to offer you every single advice to help you make the most of your stay in Granada. Facilities are clean, modern and comfortable. Plenty of local transport to get to the Alhambra and the Albayzin (it's even easy to go walking from the hostel). I would definitely choose El Granado if I went once more to Granada!

Wonderfully homey hostel with great staff, good location and facilities. Slightly strange living arrangements, since I had a 6 bed room (3 tier bunkbed) but had to pass through someone else`s room to get to mine. Everything is brand new, would definitely go again.

This was a great hostel. Everything was really clean and furniture were quite new. The livingroom/kitchen was really cozy. Rooms had heaters so it wasn't cold.Summer time there is ac. They organize walking and biking tours. Breakfast was included so the prize is really not bad at all. Only things to complain about would be that there was only one computer which was busy most of the time. Staff was just great, everyone of them! I recommend this hostel to everyone!

I have stayed at many hostels, and while I was there, I took some time to think, and I decided this really was the best hostel experience I've had yet. Upon arrival, the staff new my name, and were so accommodating until the moment I left. One staff member sat me down without asking, gave me a map and showed me everything to do, including bars, restaurants and how to get into the Alhambra! Clean place with nice fun people. LOVED IT!

The staff was very welcoming and very helpful when telling us what there was to do in Granada and arranging a walking tour. The hostel is very well located and set the bar really high for the next hostel I stay in.

After studying abroad in Granada over a year ago, it was really nice to come back to stay here. Definitely not the place for party seekers (but we were also there in the middle of the week), but it's an excellent, clean, well run hostel super close to the Cathedral. I'd definitely recommend it.
