This was my first time in Guanajuato and I am so glad I had the opportunity to stay at \"El Hogar de Carmelita.\" She was very helpful as to what areas to visit. Her place was cozy and clean. She also made breakfast every morning at no cost. Very nice lady. She went out of her way to make us feel at home. She also had her brother play the guitar for us one of the nights! This was a wonderful place to stay. Close to the city center (a 10 minute walk, if that.) It was like being at home. The woman who runs the house, Carmen, was like our mom, she looked out for us and took care of us. I can\'t recommend this hostel enough! This was a wonderful place to stay. Señora Carmen is one of the friendliest, most accommodating people I have met IN MY LIFE. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel at home. She cooked me a breakfast, free of charge, the morning after I arrived. Carmen knows everything about the city, and was filled with helpful advice. Her home is exceptionally clean and the beds are VERY comfortable. I will be staying there again when I return to Guanajuato. Thank you, Carmen! Podría definir mi estancia en Guanajuato como Excelente, y en gran medida se debe a la decisión de alojarme en éste hostal, cumple tal cual la promesa de sentirse como en casa, desde el primer instante la Sra. Carmen me atendió como si fuera de su familia, la calidez y las atenciones estuvieron a pedir de boca, y que decir de lo sabroso de la comida, definitivamente la proxima ocasión que visite Guanajuato estaré de nuevo disfrutando de la amabilidad y las agradables charlas de la Sra.
