Carmen was very kind and attentive to our needs. One down side was that one of bathrooms did not have hot water so it was a cold shower one morning - perhaps had to do with various people showering at the same time?

Carmen is delightful! She treats each guest individually, getting to know them and becoming friends! She makes delicous breakfasts, (the best I had on my 15-day Mexico trip) and is very kind and respectful. The location is s 20 minutes walk from the main center on Guanajuato, but it's nice to get out of the main part, and the walk really isn't that bad. Taxi's take a few minutes to get to the town center if you don't want to walk.

The place is very well run and Carmen is very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed very much our stay at El Hogar de Carmelita.
