I stayed here for 3 nights in early May in the dorm. Breakfast was good. Beds were clean with new foam. I slept very well. I am allergic to dust mites and didn't have any sleep issues, which was great. I had a bad sleep in an LA hostel call Duo Housing the night before due to dust mites in old mattresses. The kitchen is used by the staff before 1pm, hence the fridge is full. Its on the other end of the town where the market, about 10 mins walk. Recommended.

Great place, kept very clean and staff have been very helpful. Fast Wi-Fi, best breakfast I've ever had in a hostel, and close to bars and restaurants. Dorms can be a bit stuffy in the morning, but overall I'd highly recommend.

I thought the hostel was great and the breakfast was AMAZING. My only concern was the bunkbeds. I don't know if they were all wobbly or just mine. I was frighted the whole thing was going to tip over when climbing the ladder and thought it was going to collapse any time I made any sort of movement.

Probably the best breakfast I have ever had in a hostel with 7 choices on offer that taste great and fill you up. Staff were helpful but it seemed like a few people staying had some issues that could have been handled better, but I had no problems. Dorms were comortable and the hostel is close to the centre. Booked a shuttle to Lanquin but it seems to be half th price going the other way (only 60Q).

A good place to be. The young Guatemalan girls working there were fun and worked hard! The two I met being Wendy and Mariana. One little thing, they have a great happy hour but at some point when the beer was gone they gave us a different brand (hardly anything fancy). Turns out they shouldn't have so another woman working there comes over and says we all need to pay more. Firstly, this is something a business should absorb. I happily handed over some money and was not given change. Bad form!

Wonderful! Good bfast, seems small but actually just right. Dorm beds were double normal price since it was Semana Santa, but worth it. Many processions come right past the hostel. Great smoothies & fruit shakes, very friendly & helpful staff, especially Marina who gave much info abt local area & also making connections to other destinations. Security is v good, staff really watch out for you. Much better than other hostels in Antigua, met other backpackers and we compared, El Hostal is best!

Good place to stay, near the Zocalo, Staff is very friendly and helpful specially Mario and Mariana. You will always find your beds made and a towel avalaible every day to take a shower, in fact, the best and hot shower I have ever taken in a hostel. Good facilities, I will add a computer to check some things that are impossible to check on celphones. The rest is impecable.

Awesome place to stay at! Everybody that works there is very friendly and attentive. The place is clean and well maintained. It is close to everything so that is a plus. I will definitely come back here if I ever go back to Antigua.

Very nice hostel in Antigua. Staff was very friendly en helpfull. perfect for a relax stay and enjoying your stay. Clean rooms and very hot showers, the hottest one I found during our stay in Guatemala. It has a nice inside space were you can drink something at the bar and get to know other travelers.
