Very nice hostel, with a beautiful garden with Herbs and oranges. The breakfast is amazing with selfmade bread.

Really enjoyed staying here, the guy who owns it is lovely and helpful and speaks great English. We opted for the room without breakfast but its so close to really cheap places to eat this was fine. I loved the hammock area but the pool was uninviting. Clean toilets and would stop here again. Some real characters stopping there, a lot older than us on work or travels themselves.

Staff was fantastic; Thomas, his wife, and the rest of staff were incredibly helpful. They helped us find out when our bus was leaving and how to get to to our next destination, as well as recommendations for good places to eat closeby. The interior was perfect for lounging in the sun or shade; their ivy covered patio sparkling with twinkly lights and eclectic decorations was beautiful. Homemade bread for breakfast was delicious and the bathrooms were very clean.

Good hostel, close to party clubs. WiFi and kitchen, nice garden (with small pool!) No sign outside that it is a hostel so write down adress carefully and book ahead

Great place to stay, the locations is pretty good and Thomaz the hostel owner always trying to help you out. I have never seen a hostel like this, it seems that you are in a friend's house and not in a hostel. You can do amost everything just walking the hostel is in the middle f the city. I would stay there again definitely.

The best and most beautiful place we stayed at of our whole four weeks journey! Located right in the centre of the city, El Jardin is an oasis to relax and chat with interesting people. The rooms are very tidy and neat, the bathrooms as well. The pool has a good size to enjoy a cool refreshment. Everywhere, it's sweet with incense sticks. I loved it! The staff was great, well informed and very helpful, they even sent me my towel I forgot at the hostel! :-)

Truly caring and friendly staff/owners; Excellent with the swimming pool for warm days; nice breakfast and close to the city centre. I'll stay at El Jardin Hostal if I go to Asunción again.

The hostel is really beautifully built with a wonderful garden and even a pool. Thomas (owner) is very helpful and can give u advices about Asuncion and your further trips. Only drawback for us, during our stay the pool was in revision, so that we sufferly couldnt use it!

Hostel was ok. I didnt sleep very well as my bed was not very comfortable and my dorm seemed to have people coming and going all night as it was by the main entrance. The kitchen could be improved as well but generally this is a decent hostel to stay in whilst at Asuncion.

A really nice hostel and well located hostel. The owners are really friendly and the hostel has a nice atmosphere. During the heat the pool in the backyard is great! Definitely recommended.

This hostel is and oasis in the crazy city, Thomas the owner is great and will help you out with any thing. The pool is much needed in the middle of the day. Breakfast is not the best.
