The best hostel in Tulum, the rooms are really clean and it's great for relaxing. The private rooms are amazing. Everyone I met here was really friendly and there is heaps of space and a nice garden with hammocks. If your staying in the town of tulum and not the beach (I don't think there are any hostels on the beach anyway) then I recommend staying here. It's a short bike ride to the cenotes (don't bother with the gran cenote) and as close as most other hostels to the beach (50 pesos in taxi).

A "hippie" hostel, some would say. Nicely decorated. Clean. Remember to bring earplugs if you´re not a good sleeper (the fan makes a bit of a noise and the rooster early in the morning). Not really a place to meet people to hang out with, seemed like everybody has their own project going on.

Lovely looking place, well decorated in a hippy theme :) 10min walk from town, good food across the road. Checked in early with no problem. Toilet cistern broke, but hey its Mexico. Very basic breakfast was included. Was very quiet, not many guests in the off season. Friendly staff. Nice & clean

Absolutely magical atmosphere from the gardens to the rooms. We stayed in a private and had a balcony with a view of the jungle behind the hostel. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and of course Frida the dog is always keeping an eye on things, would love to return! Oh, fantastic Mezcal Margaritas at the bar!

This is more of a hotel than a hostel. It is a perfectly fine place to stay, plenty clean and nice. The garden is a nice place to sit and read. The front desk staff was about as unfriendly as you could imagine, and there is not a friendly atmosphere to the place. The restaurant is nice, with friendly people. But overall, this place has the atmosphere of a hotel. Nothing bad, just not community oriented like a hostel should be.

This is more like a B&B than a hostel. It's a beautiful place with a lovely spiritual atmosphere. If you are looking to do a cleanse or buy organic products or relax, this is a great place for you. If you are looking to mingle with other travellers you may be a bit bored. Really incredible seafood restaurants are across the street. Good choice if you don't want to stay at the beach. If you try to walk to the beach, instead of just verbal instructions, get a map from the staff!

I only got to stay one night as I had booked another place, that was really unfortunate because it was one of the best places in Tulum I've stayed so far. Good beds, great bathrooms, clean, quiet and animal friendly. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bar and restaurant next door were great, really good food! It had character and a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back again. The only issue was location, but if you have a bike it's not a problem! also breakfast included!

Wow great place, very clean and the staff is very helpfull. Hostel is 5 min walk from the bus station on the same street. 30 pesos taxi if you don't want to walk. 4-8 bed dorms but very private! It was a wonderfull stay!

They must improve cleanliness, hammocks smell of sweat, garbage cans must be washed, and running water is definitely unhealthy. The rest is pretty good, good atmosphere, a town you cant miss and a hostel You have to visit

We stayed in the private double room, La Garza, that was not only roomy, but also immaculately clean. It had beautiful murals and Frida Khalo's quotes painted on the walls. The birds that nested in the trees in the adjacent property woke us up early in the morning. The hostal is a bit of a walk from the bus station, but we didn't mind getting a bit of exercise walking to and from the main town hub. The managers were lovely, kind, and very helpful.

I'm mexican & it was my 1. time in am mexican hostel - I lover it! It is a really good place, staff was very nice and helpful. At the first time one would think it's a little far away but I thin we walked the most 10 min from the bus station! :)
