I changed three hostels in Rio and this hostel was the best one among them. Stuff are really friendly and helpful. They have welcome drink Cachaça and everyday they have cheap and quality drinks. Everyday there are many people hanging out together. The place has a warm environment. I highly recommend this hostel. Thank you again!

Second time I've been to this excelent hostel. It won't be the last for sure! All is great, but atmosphere is by far the best! There's something going on with this place that all seems perfect!

Nice hostel if you want to stay in Copacabana, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast is awesome. They also offer meals cooked by a French cook for 15 reais, and it's worth a try !

Considering it is four blocks from the beach and one block from the metro and supermarkets, the hostel is the best price for a good beach location. The R$15 dinners are well worth the money because they are soooo good and very filling. Caipirinhas are good, strong, and a good value. The only thing missing is drinkable water/water filter.

If you're looking to have a good time and meet foreigners, this is the place to stay. The hostel is very close to the beach and the staff is kind and as attentive as they can be with so many guests. Gaston is wonderful. The only regret is that the rooms are tight. The room I stayed in, with 9 people, had triple bunk beds and with other traveler's backpacks on the floor, there was little room to walk. The four showers in the establishment are also probably not enough for the number of guests.

This hostel is alright if you stay in the upstairs rooms, but if you stay in the 12 bed rooms they are downstairs in a basement and there are no windows, the beds are so closely together you can't get into all the lockers, which results in everyones stuff being everywhere. The room gets very humid and stuffy as its in the basement. The hostel is dirty and you can only use the kitchen when the guy who does dinner is done, after 8.30pm. Staff are generally helpful and friendly.

As our first hostel in South America it was a great start back into hostel life...it is a very sociable hostel with always someone to talk too or sit with...so etching going on every night... Breakfast was great and dinner was cooked every night pretty much!! The cleaners were phenomenal and worked non stop all day! Staff were incredibly helpful and the best bit... Literally 4 minutes from copacabana beach! Definitely recommend.

Foreign Staff that works there (recepction, kitchen, etc) excellente vibes and always help in everything, really gentle. Brazilian Staff... not so good, their kindness and flexibility was bad. Please recommend that to the hostel. Overall the hostel was really good in atmosphere, excellent breakfast, dinners, drinks and good accomodations.

Nice place to go to the beach from, handy to buses to get anywhere else. The showers are super annoying as they turn off after a minute of so. Good dorm rooms, a perminant fan would be nice tho. Would recommend.

One girl from the staff is totally incompetent. We were five and booked 5 beds in 6-bed dorm. At check in she said that they have only 3 beds in 6-bed and 2 in 9-bed dorm, which is cheaper, but she took from us like for 6-bed dorm. Next we found that there are 2 more free beds in 6-bed dorm and no one came for 2 days!!! also she broke a rule - not to sell beer after 23.00 and that's why a lot of people were partying and prevented us from sleeping

I stayed in this hostel and also elmisti Copacabana. Both had good atmosphere but this was definitely my favourite. A really good atmosphere in the evening with great hostel dinner and drinks served. Staff are super friendly and really helpful. Also good facilities. I plan to come back to this hostel on my next visit to Rio
