The hostel looks a little bit old, but it is so nice to stay there. Really good kitchen, the staff is super nice (belongs to my top three in South America) and it is located in walking distance to the city centre. You will love Silvia´s homemade marmelade!

Very nice and welcoming. But far from the center. Staff are nice and welcoming.

The staff is great. The place reminds me of my grandparent's house - a little run down but very comfortable. It's quieter than some other hostels I've stayed at in Bariloche. I was able to leave some extra luggage here when I went hiking/treking for a few days.

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. They also have a great breakfast and the best stocked hostel kitchen I have ever seen!

Fantastic time, stayed here for more than a week. Silvia, Caesar, Juan, Kelly & Matt were just awesome. Had a great asado for Christmas dinner & plenty of drinks! Will definitely stay again when in Bariloche.

The Quijote definitely has seen better days that still can be felt in its colorful decorations, and maybe the positive references date from back then... Staff: nice, but information they gave wasn't always accurate. Rooms: The mattresses sag, the bunk beds are wobbly and very short (I'm 1,70 m, and my feet almost stuck out), sheets and linen seem as if they were ten years old, the bathrooms just made me want to run, and half of the lockers in the room lacked something to actually lock them.

It is located abit far from downtown, but it is still doable, although you always have to walk up th hills to come back to the hostel. Staff was nice and always tried to help. The ensuite double bed was cute, but the bathroom is ridiculous (shower is almost on the toilet) and the water is not so hot always
