We stayed three nights in the hostl and had a very good time there. Emilio and Marta are very helpful. They have information about everything you need. Especially how to go to the villages around without a tour were great. The hostal is very clean and has a terrace on top where you can sit and enjoy the sun. The location of the hostal is perfect - near the markets and you can go everywhere easily walking. I will come back!

Marta and Emilio were super helpful, and the hot water in the showers was amazing on a chilly Oaxacan night! Close to the Mercado too for cheap food and shopping

This hostel was fantastic. It was close to the center and had a great feel about it. The couple who owned it were lovely and it felt very homely and welcoming because of them. It isn't a party hostel, but is one of the best I've stayed in. Loved it!

It is a family-run hostel. The owners are friendly. The living environment is wonderful. You can easily buy what you need and join any local tour.

A home from home run by a terrific husband and wife couple. They are incredibly friendly, lots of useful advice and simply lovely. We had a reasonable room with clean ensuite. Hot water pressure was sometimes a bit weak but otherwise super.

The hostel was one of the cleanest we have ever been to and the owners were a wonderful couple who were extremely helpful. We had a couple of problems in our private room with the water pressure and temperature but they were sorted out later that same day. This hostel is rather more quiet than some but is great for a relaxing stay and very close to the buzzing main square of Oaxaca.

Nice place, great staff! The location is excellent if you\'re going to Monte Alban as the buses leave from across the street.

The hostel was clean, the bed was huge and the linen nice but all windows opened onto stairs and corridors so it was rather noisy. The area is not beautiful but it is a walk to everywhere. North of the main square is prettier but a bit touristy, this was more authentic. The room was not cute but it was functional.
