Darren and Seca have both been superb hosts! The hostel is set in lovely grounds with two swimming pools, lots of hammocks, green space and plenty of games - badminton, ping pong, darts, chess, football etc. Darren also has a great music collection, lots of reggae, dub, ska etc. and also lots of films to choose from too. Overall our stay has been really chilled, we will hopefully be back one day :-)

owners and staff very nice people. I wish them to make some more money and upgrade this facility, otherwise they wasting themselves.

El Roble Hostal offered one of the best hostel experiences I've had in over fifteen years of extensive travel. Darren and Seko, the owners, were extremely welcoming, and have obviously lovingly decorated the buildings and gardens over the years. It is an easy walk to the beach, in a nice, quiet village.
