Best things about this hostel are the staff who are very helpful, the price and the location is excellent, very central, in safe neighbourhood. Be aware rooms on the first floor are VERY noisy, terrace rooms are great. lockers only in some rooms and kitchen very small.

The main thing I think they could improve is the security. There were no free lockers when I was there. But, in general is a very good hostel, I enjoyed my stay there. I recommend it.

The staff definitely goes out of their way to make sure you have fun! A great atmosphere and a fun place. I loved chilling out on the courtyard patio during the day. In the evening it usually turned into a low key gathering place for a few drinks. One night, the owner organized live music to play! The hostel is reasonably small amd the staff is waiting at the door to buzz you in and you pretty much meet everybody fairly quickly so security didnt seem much of a problem, but no lockers.

Great staff that made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. Not a "PARTY PARTY" hostel, which was more my speed, except there was a little bar to enjoy a coctail or two with other guests. definitely will go back to el sol hostel next time i am in buenos aires. Thanks again for everything Paul.

Rather chaotic, which isnīt always a bad thing. Can be noisey as spontaneous parties can go on all night long. Facilities are a bit shabby, but that can be construed as character by some, I guess.
