Hostel personnel is not really into helping you, otherwise, is a good place to stay without spending too much.

The hostel had a good atmosphere, though there wasn't much of a crowd beeing off season. The private rooms were very good, even had a safe, a nice amenity. The common area was very nice, but two things bothered me: paying for the pool table and the price of the beverages. Another general problem was that they don´t allow you to bring your own alcoholic beverage. Regarding value, there were cheaper nice hotels and the lack of many other guests didn´t make up for it in terms of fun.

I was at Brava Beach Hostel for 2 nights on april. The hostel, in general, was nice, but rooms didn´t smell good and the bathroom, very very small, was very dirty, no one has ever empty the bin, even though there were 6 people on the room, and the floor was never cleaned as long as i was there. However, the sheets were clean and the hostel had a nice place to chat and meet people. The location is vey good.

The staff need to learn some better English, not play loud blaring music at all hours of the day and also not to hit on younger female travellers who are backpacking on their own. None of the rooms lock and security is minimal. Very money oriented as a business. On the other hand, The Trip hostel were very welcoming, helpful and genuinely nice young guys who assisted us with lots of info about town as el viajero were just completely incapable. I would highly recommend The Trip hostel instead!

Best time ever! I was only here for 3 nights, but I met so many people from all over the world -- we had a great group and I think that makes a huge difference! Great location for Playa Brava and Playa Mansa. The ONLY thing that I didn't love about the Hostel was that the beer was expensive, we had to pay to play pool and the bike rentals were expensive. If you go down the street, you can rent bikes for cheaper prices. But other than that, I had so much fun!

Helpful staff and good location. The cleaningness is not the best and there was sand all over the room all the time. The shower was also only cold and the bathroom moldy. But I think I just can't ask much for a near the beach hostel.

Just perfect for meeting people. Comfortable, well-sized, very close to the beaches, restaurants, a market and bakery, the bus station, etc. Would 100% stay again.

I understand it is a beach city, but there is sand spread all over the hostel. Put some showers on the outside, so you can at least clean your feet. On the bright side, breakfast is not the best, but it's good. Location is great, close to beaches on both sides, one of the casinos (if you're into it), bus station is a short walk from there.

I had a great time there, the staff was really nice, the room was clean and bathroom was nice! The only problem I had was with a not complete guidence to go to the Casa Pueblo. I was told the there was a regular bus to go there, but no one warned me about how to come back. I thought we there was a bus stop around the same place I went down on the arrival, but there wasn't...in the end I had to walk for 15 mintutes to find a bus stop on the road and stay for 40 min waiting and no bus stoped...

Everything you could want in a hostel! Comfy beds with good mattresses, spacious individual lockers, breakfast included, nice chilled out atmosphere in a good location, close to the beach. Communal areas are large, clean and comfortable and the shared dinners are delicious and a great way to meet people. Very friendly and helpful staff plus the gorgeous owner made this a fantastic place to stay!

Clean and nice hostel, but the staff seems not really want to help you, prefer to interact between themselves than to serve you.

Great kitchen (we've seen some shockers!) and good location. Nice dining area for socialising and rooms are really comfortable and spacious - we were in the 10 bed dorm and still had plenty of room

The definitely care about security, the hostel and its staff are nice and they offer a lot. It is very close to the beaches, but this might also be the reason, why it isn't very clean since everybody is carrying in the sand from there. The rooms are a bit to small for such many people and they are lacking a chair or anything to sit except the bed of another guest.
