Hi Thank you so much for staying with us. We will fix the internet as fast as we can, we undertand the important it is for a traveller (Viajero!). Hope to see you back soon. Regards Margarita Regional Manager El viajero hostels Colombia

I have found a new home at this hostel. At least 3 times I asked for an extension of my stay. A lot of this has to do with the magical attraction of Cali, but equally the hostel itself couldn´t be more welcoming. Location, cleanliness and facilities are great, but above all this has to do with the staff. At this point I would especially like to mention Natalia and Anderson. You couldn´t find nicer people in the world. I´ll definitely come back the next time.

The wifi is not good at all and sometimes not available. Most staff and front desk workers were nice, Anderson was extremely friendly. Breakfast should be until 10:30 and have more variety. Kitchen utensils should be upgraded (a couple sharp cutting knives cannot be that expensive and is a reasonable request). More fridge space could also be useful. Having a second alternative to heat the water would be nice so warm showers could be available late night and early morning as well.

Great hostel. Had a really good time. I wish they wouldn't close the pool/bar area at night cause Cali is a warm place and a night swim is really pleasent. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Must try the mojito from the bar. Anderson makes it best!! Will def recommend it.

El Viajero was am awesome value and a really nice hostel. The pool was a very nice touch to the layout.

All good. The skinny lady Short hair from The swimming pool could be nicer. Other than that all good.

My second time here. Before when it was an independent, Jovita's it was warmer and friendlier. Specific complaints poor kitchen facilities, insufficient cups, some cracked and grubby. Caters mainly to party set therefore a lot of noise even after the supposed quiet time. Breakfast uninteresting juice poor quality orange drink. Room clean enough and bed ok. Showers cold. Too few spaces to wash, shave and clean teeth. Wifi faded 50% of time and non existent in room. Pool fine. management poor.

I'm only giving this a lower cleanliness rating because the people I was rooming with smelled! Next time I will definitely pay a little extra for a private. But viajero hostel was amazing. The pool and bar were great for mid day drinking! And the bartender tatiana was great company. Cali was great and viajero hostel is a big reason why.

El viajero hostel in cali is really recomendable! The atmosphere is great, the bar and the pool are cool and the free salsa lessons are a lot of fun! It's a very good place to stay, to meet tourists and locals.

nice hostel, nice atmosphere. quite a bummer that they close the bar and all the comunal areas at 11pm. you basically have to go to bed or go out, you can't just chill out.. cool hostel though, in the area there are cool and cheap restaurants and there's a alcohol-cigarette-laundry shop next door.

I don't really think this is a great hostel. I found the staff pretty rude and unhelpful, they all seemed to have a bit of a bad attitude. That wouldn't have been a huge problem though, but there were so many other things as well that just weren't great. The rooms are really nasty, hot, sweaty, sticky with minimum ventilation. There was one small fan attached to the wall in a dorm of 10 people, I slept absolutely awfully. The bathrooms were small and not the cleanest, and the showers filthy too.

Wake up, breakfast, relax by the pool, salsa class, maybe venture somewhere, get lunch with friends, relax, swim, read, sleep in a hammock, salsa class, dinner, go out and dance salsa or reggaeton or bachata. That's a typical day here. If you're cool with that, this place a great!! There isn't much to do in Cali so you definitely want a hostel that has a good atmosphere and things to do. This place is perfect for it. I stayed 6 days and thoroughly enjoyed doing this each day. Recommend!

Good hostel that nearly has it all spot on. Location is not bad, awesome swimming pool and hangout area to meet other travellers but horrendous WiFi that did not work my entire stay of a week.

Staff is ok, the place is massive and feels more like a big mansion than a hostel because the pool, is good. Salsa classes are included and are more interesting than appears! Definitely recommend.

Great hostel to meet travellers and hang by the pool. The dance classes are fun and the private teachers were excellent. They should be a little bit more relaxed about breakfast and one bartender needs to chill a little, it would be great if the internet was improved too, but other than that I really recommend this hostel.

Super chill hostel !!!

Staff Great, Atmosphere Great, Salsa lessons great, finally i can do some salsa :), the location is perfect, 5 blocks to el centro, the neighbourhood is great, old and beatiful, pool and bar the best area to meet new people and hang out and every day the recommend the perfect places to go out. coming back soon!!

It is a fine place. Most staff is very friendly and helpful. I want to thank one person especialy. Niels Muchas gracias para todo. He showed me some wonderful places all over Cali.

Friendly staff, nice bar and pool to relax and meet other people. Make sure to subscribe for the salsa class as they are ful very quickly. At 11pm they shut down the music, close bar and you cannot sit around the pool area anymore. You don't really have a place to chill anymore.

Nice hostel with pool and bar. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Hammocks to chill out in. Breakfast basic but fine. No hot water in showers any time I tried. Stayed in 10 bed dorm. Very crowded and a bit stuffy at that. In pretty safe location. Overall I was happy with my stay here
