The hostel was located close walking distance to the historical site, banks and small supermarket for groceries. Staff were friendly.

Was a lovely big hostel with really good breakfast and great location

Colonia is a beautiful, but pricey place and this hostel reflects that. It's expensive, but nice. Some of the staff are lovely, but there's one grumpy guy who works there. The bbq is a plus but the breakfast is lacking.

The room I stayed should not be available given its conditions. I mean the first room before the reception.

We absolutely loved this hostel, really friendly & informative staff. We loved our stay the only thing that could be a better is if the BBQ was a little earlier.

Nice, clean hostel and great staff.

Our private double room was pretty grubby. The breakfast offered was the worst we had on our whole trip.

Nice hostel conveniently located in the heart of Colonia del Sacramento. The staff is nice and helpful and the hostel offers huge common spaces (rooftop terrace + yard + nice big room with couches, bar and tables). The lack of atmosphere was probably to the hostel being almost empty so they didn't offer any common activities. Only complaint: the walls could use new paint/wallpaper (it had holes with mold next to the bed. other than that, everything was really clean!)

Everything was simply perfect! Nice atmosphere and helpful staff... by the way, veeery hard-working people!!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is good, the beds are comfy enough. You put the sheets on yourself so you know they're clean.

The ambient of the hostel is nice and the kitchen has all I need to make some food.

Great location.

Good hostel to sleep at, high prices in my opinion, but the staff if friendly, helped with a lot of information.

Staff was not friendly and helpful.

Great hostel! Colonia is a city to spend one day, but this hostel was worth to stay much more! Staff was helpful, lockers are more than enough for backpackers and the hostel is beautiful with adequate structure. My only small complaint is about the shower, that didn't have enough space, but the facilities were always clean. Breakfast was OK, had all we need to go for a walking day in the lovely city.

Decent enough place, couldn't access my locker as it was blocked with other guests' luggages. Good wifi access, excellent location, close to pretty much everything.

Very friendly staff. I stayed in female only dorm, great opportunity have his option. Cute old house, easy walkl from he bus station and right in the heart of everything.

Dorm, breakfast, wifi etc all great. There is an outside sitting area immediately outside the dorm. Convenient in the day time, inconvenient when someone starts a loud conversation at 1am. Choose a different room if you are a light sleeper.

Nice hostel with friendly and helpful staff, conveniently located very near old town. Air con didn't work (no remote) and we were given fan which was fine, as wasn't too hot when we were there (March '15). And we easily got decent refund (no problems), which was most appreciated, due to having paid for private room with a/c. Would stay there again.

Unfortunately the bed I slept in had bed bugs which i am allergic to, luckily i was only staying one night. The staff were very nice but I didn't get the impression that anything would be done to get rid of the bed bugs. And they didn't offer to wash my infested clothes. Aside from that, great location, the atmosphere was ok. The staff were very friendly.
