Great hostel. Kitchen, and everywhere else, cleaned daily. Staff was so helpful, friendly and made our visit. The 8 bed dorms were in bigger rooms than the 6 bed.

The private rooms are not worth the $90 USD you pay for them. The bathroom was not very clean and the entire room was dark and dank...

The hostel is really great. You get to know a lot of people, as the common area is comfortable and big. The breakfast is really good for the price you pay and the staff are always cleaning the stuff up. The bathrooms are neat, clean and they provide even soap. The location is pretty good, just a few blocks away from the bus and the ferry terminal, as well as the historic sites. They offer barbecue dinners, which are delicious. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

I loved this hostel! Really helpful and friendly staff with big spacious room. Located in the old part of colonial in a beautiful old building. I would definitely come back and stay here.

Our stay was great. The common places make it easy to meet lots of people and though maybe the hostel would be noisy until very late at night, once we got in our room it was really quiet and not difficult at all to sleep. The staff were attentive with us also. We had a great time!

Nice hostel with a clean and relaxed living room, serving as well as bar and breakfast place, as well some good spots to skim through a book or sit down for a drink. The spacious terrace is definitley a plus with good weather conditions.

Loved the roof terrass. The staff is helpful and the rooms are really nice. The hostel itself is pretty pricey I think, but since you will meet a lot of backpackers it's quite worth it. A bit sad you have to buy drinks there though (they have a bar). They only have one kind of wine, and when I'm close to argentina I like choosing wine myself. Overall it's a great hostel though and I would recommend going there. :)

One of the guys in the staff was really nice and helpful and talked to me in Portuguese. I won a stay in Punta del Este (Manantiales). Great breakfast! We had a little problem with hot water in the bathroom on the last day, but it was a nice stay.

Everything you expect and want...brilliant breakfast, clean sheets and air condicioning that actually works! Lacks any character though..in contrast to the town itself.
