In fact, we weren't able to find the hostel. Was past midnight, and we informed them before that we would arrive after midnight, but we did not found the place and there was not a single sign on the door. We quit the idea, going to another hostel, after asking people on the street at 2AM.

Bit out of town if you want to stay in Punta del Este but nice if you want quiet beaches.

Away from busy Punta Del Este, this hostel was just a short walk to the beach and shops in Manantiales. It had a fantastic chilled-out vibe, in part due to the outdoor bar area and swimming pool which was perfect for lazing about beside on the hot days. Staff were friendly and cooked delicious meals that everyone could pay to share. Nice dorms, comfortable lounge and tv area and a beautiful view of the ocean from the verandah. All in all a great place to relax and enjoy the beach!

My new home away from my home, in BA! Love this place!! Great staff, food, drinks, pool, locale, etc. Be sure to get room away from pool, with a/c, if you want to sleep. If you want to party....that happens occasionally and very well! Star and moonlight, with a campfire and singing, with sound of waves, in the background!

My wonderful, new, home away from home, in Punta, Manantiales, in summer!! Great pool, bar, staff, locale and food! Bikini Beach only a short walk away from here. Can hear the waves, from hostel. Surfing beach. Nights, with chatting, campfires, singing, eating/drinking.....great congeniality!!

Hostel with nice facilities and big outdoor area with a swimming pool, very good mattresses and close the beach. The bars and stores are expensive in this area.

definitely a party hostel. rooms had lockers but most were broken. room doors did not have any locks, so this made security pretty dodgy. hostel staff was great though.. ownership just needs to spend some money and clean the place up.

Great staff, atmosphere and location! It's the kind of place where you book 3 nights and end up staying 3 weeks. A nice pool area with a bar are perfect to get into touch with other guests/the staff for a chat or a couple of drinks. Punta del Este is 20 minutes by bus. La Barra is right around the corner with some fun nightlife as well as some beautiful beaches. There are no lockers in the room, but in the hallway close to the reception, which is manned 24/7. Did I mention the lovely staff?:-)

Out of the way and the weather was poor so absolutely nothing to do. Not that great of an atmosphere but staff was really friendly and breakfast was great.

Good fun. Great collection of films. But a little off the beaten track. Bring insect repellant

In the middle of nowhere, but the staff were great and the vibe was chill and fun. No ATMs with a 3 km radius, so get money out before arriving.

This hostel is WAY too far from downtown. If you don\'t have a car, you\'re going to find your options very limited for dinner/going out. Of course, if all you want is to go to Bikini Beach and go to bed this hostel is great. We were there during low-season and wound up switching into a hostel in downtown after 2 nights because the Manantiales location was so inconvenient. Staff was really sweet, and the hostel had a lot of great amenities. So would recommend those things.
