DO NOT STAY HERE!! many better hostels in SF! First the room key wouldn't work, 3 times! Each time I went to tell the receptionist he became more irritated as if it was my fault. Shower in the room was dirty &didn't work properly and no alternative shower. Major bed bug problem and clearly no effort to get rid of them or warn guests so I slept on a couch in the hall after being bitten alive. Tried to cancel my 2nd night and asked for refund but they refused to refund me for either night. AWFUL!!
