Good, simple, clean - close to the airport, helpful staff. Small.

The air conditioning was broken during our stay.

As far as I am concerned, accommodation at this hostel was completely fine. The staff waited for us and we arrived very late and they treated us very well. Very kind, proffesional and good service. Maybe a bit expensive for what you get, but clean room and good breakfast and location is quite appropriate if you arrive late, since it is near to the airport.

This hostel is conveniently located near the airport in Managua and we stayed there the night we flew in and the night before our flight out. It's a great location when you have a flight but it is away from the main tourist area. It's in a local neighborhood which is safe and interesting, but not a lot of shops/restaurants. The woman who runs it is very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is better than expected. I highly recommend this place when you are flying in or out of NIcaragua.

We only spent 1 night at Elena Borgen, but we enjoyed it! Nice & spacious room, but most of all a very friendly lady! She made us a delicious fruit salad in the morning and helped us with getting a taxi to the bus terminal. As far as the location is concerned, to be honest, have no idea if it's a good one. We left early morning by taxi for the bus to Leon and didn't see much of the surroundings.

Very helpful staff; arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport at midnight for a good price. Even provided us with a small snack since we were hungry after the long flight. Very quiet place, not a party hostel (a good thing!). Would definitely stay again.

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, very convenient for the airport and Mayoreo bus station. Expect to pay 10 USD for a taxi from airport.
