We have stayed at Elena Borgen several times now on our way to and from the Corn Islands. Our stay has always been very satisfying, but most of all the lady Elena is one one of the nicest Nicaraguans we have met, always so gracious, kind and caring. We usually take the very early morning flight when returning back to Canada, but Elena is always there to bid us goodbye and give us our breakfast package to take away. We will definitely return to Elena Borgen. Raymond and Ludy Pinto.

good location if you travel from or to airport,

We arrived at the hostel at 2am and the owner was awake and welcomed us into the hostel. We had fresh fruit and coffee in the morning under the shade of a mango tree. I would definitely stay here again.

NICRAGUA GUEST HOUSE AND THIS IS SAME.THE STAFF IS VERY GOOD BUT NOT THE OWNER OSCAR VERY RUDE AND ROUGH.

The place is within walking distance to a shopping center with plenty of food and ATMs. The owner was very helpful to arrange taxis and provided us with a breakfast even if we were leaving at 4am for the airport.
