Pretty poor. 'Private' rooms are little more than partitions in what looks like a poorly converted ex-office building. Bugdet prices but still feels like a rip-off. There were no powerpoints in my room.

The set up is a large open room with beds fitted into cubicle like spaces with doors that were left unlocked most of the time. The walls didn't rise all the way up to the ceiling so standing on the top bunk you can see into the room next door. You can also hear every snore, laugh, and moan and since the room is so open these sounds carry. You share the floor with at least fifty other people.

Pros: strategic location Cons: Kitchen is dirty, tv that's barely working with very dirty and old sofa, no power point in the room, hence charging camera, phone, laptop is difficult, at least provide a fan for hot melbourne summer (i'm not sure on winter wether they provide heater during winter), check out we have to take out the bed sheet which is very unusual and totally unnecessary, not that cheap also for lousy hostel

Good, no problems, you get what you pay for so expectations weren't high, but there was nothing negative about my stay. Would recommend to people who are more concerned about money than luxury. Good location. Only thing is that you can see flinders st station through the window and it glows bright orange all night. I liked it but it could annoy other people.

The walls are not proper, anyone can climb over them, and you are able to hear your neighbour breathing.

Good rate price/quality. Possibilty of cooking. On the first floor, noise and smell can pass above the walls of the rooms (which don't touch the roof).

Alarge impersonal hostel. The toilets were really dirty. The walls did not go to the ceiling so you could hear everyone in other rooms. The kitchen downstairs was a mess.I would,nt stop here again unless last resort.

The place generally seemed unpleseant. The communal area in the basement was not a very enjoyable place to spend time, it\'s hard to pin down exactly what was so bad about it, but the lack of natural light and grubby nature made it feel as if you were in a military bunker. The rooms are also less rooms, as the walls don\'t actually reach the roof. Ensuring you hear everything that happens on your floor of upto 50 people.

This was definitely not what we were expecting. I know its a hostel, but when you book a private double room you do expect something more than a thin-walled cubicle with no roof. Carpets were filthy and the bed was horrible.

This hostel is in an excellent location and the staff was ok, but the kitchen-laundry-internet lounge was horrific, full of cockroach. The rooms...i´ve stayed in a single room, but it was like if I slept with 10 people in the same room. It was imposible to sleepbeacuse of the partitioned walls (and the bad education and lack of respect of the people. Also, ther was not any power point in the room.I can not recommend it to anybody.

The hostel is very cheap, so you get what you pay for. I just wanted some place to sleep for a couple of nights, and that was what a got for a little amount of money.

Really convenient location - I only stayed for about 6 hours to shower and sleep between a flight and a train - but it made it really easy to walk out the door into the station to catch my train. The partitioned walls didn't bother me at all - but i can imagine sleeping in would be difficult. The bathrooms were clean enough, and the guy on duty at the desk was friendly. I even ended up with a room to myself (in a 2bed female dorm). thumbs up generally

Value for location - could not be better. Strange hostel - walls only go half way - but the promo did say! Try to keep bathrooms clean and I did not bother cooking as next laneway full of cafes that were cheap and good. For price and location RECOMMEND
